BW Exchange Reports & Reviews (5)

I became a victim of an online romance scam known as "pig slaughtering". I initially matched with "Kevin" on the Hinge dating app and we later started conversations on Whatsapp after he deleted the Hinge account for exclusivity. We began conversation normally before he suddenly confessed his "love" to me in less than a week and wanted to start investing in "our future". In order to "invest", he linked me to a website "bwerc.com" where he taught me how to "maximize gains and profits". The process was wire transferring money from my bank to Coinbase, an actual regulated crypto app, and then turn the money into USDT, which then gets transferred to the scam crypto app. It mirrored the BW exchange crypto app almost exactly with just a few differences. It started with a small investment just to test run how everything worked and he taught me how to do it. He even told me to withdraw money, which I did, and it all seemed real.

This began the emotional and psychological manipulation where he pressured to invest even more by taking out personal loans on actual legit loan sites. If I refused, he gaslighted me. No matter how much I argued, he did not seem to understand my point of view until I gave in to what he wanted me to do. I put in a total of $90k to this scam app of his thinking this was to invest in "our" future together, promising to travel the world with me or meeting me soon or how happy we would be together. All of this is the exact same script other victims of this type of scam has faced where some have lost less and some have lost more. I only realized that I was trapped in this scam after an attempt to withdraw a larger amount after "gains and profit". The app required a tax fee to release the money being withdrawn and according to articles I researched and discovered, this was where the actual "pig slaughtering" begins. If I had decided to make payment, they would come up with different excuses as to why the money did not go through, or that I would have to pay extra for an error, or one letter was off when making the payment. I felt humiliated, but the only thing to do was to move forward and take measures to protect myself. I am currently still in contact with the scammer as they are not aware that I finally figured out that I have been fooled.

Hello, I would like to report a fraudulent from this crypto currency called BW Exchange. Someone who I came across that does trading was curious to know what platform I was using. She identified that the website that I used was a fake platform and to stop trading immediately. They used a encrypted version and when I found out. I tried to withdraw my money and it's been almost 2 weeks that they won't give my money back to me. I have about $8,795 in the account and they froze my account and won't respond back to me. It's almost been two months and they told me to wait for a month or pay additional $3,888 to become a VIP users, but they took my money. Why would I believe them again? I kept telling them that I need my money and they blocked me from the account. So I need some assistance or help to report this scamming operation. So no one would be a victim like me. I hope that I can get my money back somehow. ??
