This is what I got in my email when I was trying to find a job through the www.eBenefits.va.gov website, there are scams going on with hiring veterans like myself. Here is the email, and many others too. I have a friend of mine who lost his job over this. I will report this once I get to work, because I am still employed with the Department of Veteran Affairs, of which I am one of the member of the help desk of eBenefits and the MHV website for us Veterans.

CELGENE CORP

I was approached by someone claiming to be Pasquale Buono <[email protected]>, a recruiter from the company "Celgene". This person contacted me through a linkedin e-mail address that I was unable to reply to ([email protected]). This person stated that they were interested in hiring me for a work from home position as a Data Entry CSR.

After sending e-mails back and forth, this person asked me to download AIM and speak with them there (where I have also saved the chat log). His screen name on AIM is pasqualebuono.

This person continued to ask me a series of questions. I was hesitant since the beginning but I went along with it. This person asked for a copy of my driver's license, a utility bill, and they sent me an offer letter asking for my signature on it. I am afraid of what this person could do with that information. </[email protected]>
