Change My Postal Address Reports & Reviews (4)

I thought I was at the USPS official site to change my address. When I looked at my checking account I see I was charged $79.50 to change my address. That is the first time I discovered I was at a private site rather than the official P.O. site. Their site appeared to look like the official site. I believe their site was not only misleading but also hopes that individuals never discover the outrageous price they foster on unaware individuals. I am seeking a refund of $79.95 to my checking account. I called the Post Office and they were kind enough to inform me that this happens to people all the time. They would never charge that much, in fact they charge $1.05 for a change of address. I will be writing to the CEO of this company as well.

I was trying to change my address through the USPS & it said to put in my card info to verify identity. I've had to pay $1 before so I thought no big deal. My bank was charged $59.95 (usforwardmail). This is a scam it appeared to be the postal office.

The website claims to be a change of adress website but does not tell you how much money they will charge you, does not clearly state it is not affiliated with the post office, but claims it is through USPO when it is not directly affiliated. They charge $35 and possibly other fees later without knowledge. They also do not give a clear and responsive customer service. Any form submitted under “contact us” will say that it has an error. They provide a log in effort but then it says it cannot log you In and wants you to “resubmit another transaction”. This company is purposefully trying to scam you out of a large portion of money under a false sense that you are using a legitimate website backed by the USPS and is making clear efforts to prevent you from contacting them.

I wanted to process my change of address, the website looked like the one of the USPS so I continued to process my request. Upon completing my $1 processing fee I realized this was not the USPS website. I immediately called my bank to cancel my card. They told me that there was already a charge for $39.95. We cancelled the card and will be filing a claim of fraud.
