- Sparks, NV, USA

A woman introduced herself as Claire she said she was from Chronic Pain Services, asked for my name then my type of medical Ins , she especially wanted to know if I had Medicaid or Medicare and went on to describe Blue/White as being the colors of Ins card that she can use, as I didn’t know what those types of Ins were..when I asked her again for her name she said “Jen”, I tried to get more info from her at that point however she was quite evasive and I ended the call...this is the 2nd call in 2 days and I’m positive of others although I wasn’t aware I should be reporting them on this website and will be doing so from here on out.

I've been getting calls for weeks from a company called "National Chronic Pain Services", "Chronic Pain Association", or "Chronic Pain Services", it varies every time. Every time there's a recording about getting "medical braces", most of the time I choose the option to have my number removed, but it doesn't matter because they keep calling, and from a different number every time. When I do speak with someone they're so unprofessional and rude and refuse to give any information about the "company". I've only been able to find out their headquarters is in San Antonio, Texas according to one of the scammers. Today the scam caller told me they're associated with Medicare, which apparently is a lie. There's no apparent way to stop getting these calls.

Said "this is not a sales call but a response for your request for information ….". I asked what request and she said it didn't list who referred me. She asked about my back pain and what insurance I had.. I told her Tricare (which is not true). She asked if I had medicare when I answered no, she hung up on me.

This is the back and knee brace scam. I got them to give me a business name: Chronic Pain Services. I don't know if that will help.

They called me twice today on my cellphone and twice on my landline, which is on the do-not-call list.

Person on the phone identified himself as Brandon Jacobs with Chronic Pain Services, standard Medicare type scam claiming to be returning a phone call related to your chronic pain and trying to get your information/sell a back or other brace. This services uses spoofed numbers, so the "caller" on caller ID is usually a disconnected phone number or a random, unrelated person's personal cell number. Impossible to block them because they call 5-10 times a day with different spoofed personal cell numbers on caller ID. They often use cells in your area code to make the number look more trustworthy.

initially it is a robocall advertising, select 1 if interested or 5 to remove from list

If you select 1 your call gets re-routed to a call center with a brief hold, then a rept comes in and asks for your insurance company information

if you select 5 your call gets disconnected however you still receive calls the same day, same week, same month, never stops

Medical Brace at no cost

Chronic pain - medical knee brace

chronic pain services (braces for chronic pain)

calls come always from local area codes but I believe these are just spoof/bogus numbers their call system generates

Keep getting cold calls from this company. Asked numerous times to remove my number but they don't care

- Lafayette, LA, USA

"chronic pain services" calls daily even after hitting their donotcall list option and talking with a rep to complain

The numbers are always local and fake

Got several calls from this number before I answered. I spoke to one of the telemarketers and asked for the name of their business. She told me it was “Chronic Pain Services” ...I asked where they were located and she told me they have locations all over. I asked if they were in michigan. At this point she got upset and hung up on me. When I called the number back it went to the voicemail of a Man’s personal number. I left him a message letting him know someone was using his number to call people. I have been registered on the National Do Not call registry for over 9 months yet Im still getting a lot of calls so Im going to start reporting all of them. She hung up before I could hear what it is they were trying to sell me.

Received a robo call stating that I have complained of chronic pain and I am eligible through medicare/medicaid for durable medical equipement and that I should press 1 to speak to someone or press 2 to be removed from their call list. I pressed one and asked a barrage of questions until I got hung up on. I work for the Florida Dept of Health in the Medical Quality Assurance / Investigative Services Unit that also deals with fraud.

telemarketing scamming using an auto-dialer to place ghost calls that are disconnected if return called. Scammer uses multiple disconnected

phone numbers to persistently call the same person at all times and hours of the day and weekend. Blocking one number is irrelevent cause they just use another disconnected call. If reach a live person, they will NOT answer any questions and they immediately hang up. Its impossible

to locate the company and proceed with any legal action as they are not locatable.

AUTOMATED CALL SAYING THEY SEE I SUFFER FROM CHRONIC PAIN. OFFERING A BRACE AT LITTLE TO NO COST. PRESS 1 FOR SPECIALIST PRESS 2 TO BE TAKEN OFF CALL LIST. THEY CALL EVERYDAY SOMETIMES TWICE PER DAY. I HAVE PRESSED 2 OVER 50 TIMES. IT NEVER WORKS WHEN I PRESS 1 FOR A SPECIALIST AS SOON AS YOU ASK QUESTION THEY HANG UP.

- Garner, NC, USA

started with robo-dial telling me they were calling back in regards to my Medicare request for pain management. press 1 to speak to a representative, 2 to be placed on the do not call list. As I have already pressed 2 multiple times in the past, I pressed 1 and a woman came on and asked who she was speaking to. I asked her the name of the company she was calling from and she hung up. I receive these calls multiple times a week, some times multiple times a day. The phone number is spoofed, and when I attempt to call them back on the number I usually get the number is disconnected or not in service. Also, neither my wife or I are on Medicare, and neither of us are dealing with chronic pain, or have requested any information.
