CoinBits Reports & Reviews (1)

I received a message on indeed about a job opportunity from Michelle brown. working as customer service representative at CoinBits. I confirmed my interest, and upon confirming my interest they sent me an email saying they tried to call me for a phone interview. (But I didn’t even apply to the job yet?) Anyways I gave them a call back a few times ... no answer. She did end up calling back and she had a weird accent I could barely understand her but I understood everything she said. She was asking if I had time for an interview I said yes. She did more talking than asking. She told me a bit about the company and said it’s remote. (Just like I wanted) than...

Questions

Do you have internet access at home? I said yes

Do you know about CoinBits? I said it has to do with currency. And she said it’s ok you’ll know more about it as you go on with the hiring process.

Do you have a laptop? Nope I would have to get one

Than she said “your mangers name is Mr.Odell so he will be contact with you soon. And I will be sending you an email of the company contact you sign with us to proceed with the hiring process” (basically what she said not saying it word for word)

After we hung up that day I got no email but the next day I did.

It was from her though...

an employment agreement. It asked for my first name, last name, date, city, state, and signature. Than it has the company official signature line with a stamp over the signature that says limited liability company. I gave up the information(dumb) before searching. But than I said to myself let me see before I give them personal information. So when I click the link to their job posting on indeed it takes me to what looks to be a document and it gives a description of the job. The link I got in the email from when they tried to call me took me to a website that you can bring up on google. “CoinBits” it had a different number from what she called me on. The basic salary for full time annually is 62,400 a year. That sounded good for a mom of two. In need of work in this pandemic, and trying to do the best she can do in life like any other mom. So I said ok let me look at the customer reviews they were all bad and it was for “BitCoin” not CoinBits (the company hiring me.) than I keep looking and eventually find good reviews on CoinBits. So I started to stop looking than something said look at the address that’s on the website. When I look it shows apartments that are up for rent. Nothing about a company named CoinBits. Than I said the business bureau must be able to tell me something about it. I mean duh. so I ended up at this website and tried to find them by their business name. One result came up, and that one result came up in a different city in Florida. But that business was not accredited by the BBB! It’s supposed to be located in Clearwater Florida according to the website and it didn’t come up at all so I said yup scam for sure. Now here I am reporting this to you be careful! Even if a few things seem legit look at every single thing the company sent you.
