Danielle Allman Reports & Reviews (1)

- Lafitte, LA, USA

The scam began through Puppyfind.com on December 5th, 2020. The seller, Danielle Allman, had 3 different postings of puppies on her account. I contacted her through email initially, where she sent me more pictures of the puppy that I was interested in. I contacted her about my sudden interest via text, which is included above and was posted on her account. Danielle communicated with me well early on, as we discussed her puppies and my dog I currently own. We agreed on selling the puppy. The full price of the puppy including shipping was $750, and the transportation service Jet-A-Pet would be used to secure a safe travel and delivery to my door step. The seller was very thorough and knowledgeable about the service. She asked many of questions, like most sellers would ask. The seller seemed experienced to me. I then sent her a deposit of $400 the same day. Later that night she sent me a receipt with both our info included. She then told me she was looking to book a flight for Monday, December 7th. The seller told me right away she would send me flight information, which I did not receive throughout the entire process. Once she received her deposit, the seller failed to communicate with me. I constantly checked for any further email with flight info and nothing was ever sent. By Tuesday, I reached out to the seller concerned. I received messages with excuses from the seller. Her last text message to me was on Tuesday, 12-11-20, in the afternoon time. She asked if i'd be home that night and that the puppy would be shipped, followed by her sending me the flight info. Again, nothing was received, and the seller did not communicate any further. I spent the entire day doing some research of my own by looking up who I truly believe the seller is, Danielle Allman of Lodi, California. Through social media, I discovered that those puppies, who according to Puppyfind.com were 13 weeks old, was on her social media page back in February and she posted that they were adopted earlier in the year. I believe that the scammer was desperate for funds, and used old images of her previous puppies to lure in buyers. The following day, I reached out to the website Puppyfind.com to report the scam, and left the seller a negative review. I also reported the claim to Paypal.com, where the deposit transaction took place, as well as my bank.
