I was contacted through text by someone saying they saw my resume on WorkInTexas, a job finder website through the Texas Workforce Commission for Unemployment. I was asked to download Telegram Messenger from the App Store. Once I did, I was placed in contact with an HR hiring manager. Everything seemed really legit for a long time. They have become extremely good at this. They even picked a legit company opening up a new location in my city. They went through the whole interview process, gave me the hourly rate, work schedules available, and said they would be sending me my equipment and once the location opened up I would go from a remote employee to in-office. They then waited an entire day because they need to go through the interview process. However the next day, when I was offered the job, I was asked for a front and back copy of my drivers license and my SS number. This was asked to be sent over the text message application. Huge red flag. Then I was told I would receive a check in the mail to purchase my equipment. That’s unheard of. When I pushed back I was told it was required and a part of my orientation. Another red flag. Orientation shouldn’t include proving you can cash a check with your own bank account to purchase supplies from an unknown vendor. These scams send you a check, once you deposit it, they claim there is an error. They then either contact you to pay it back or they contact your bank with all of the identification you willingly gave to them. They drain your bank account. These low lives feed off of unemployed people already struggling financially.

I was interview online with Mrs. Bianca, interviewed for employment, during the process I was sent a check in the $2550.00 was initially submitted to me and scan check for deposit to my account. When I was told contact a Mr, Cook, that when the issue became incorrect as far as business, but Mr. Cook spoke to my bank saying that he spoke to the bank in regards balance/available of funds. Also, to send a money gram in the amount of $1150.00 as per Mr. Cook and indicated to process office station I need for employment.

4/20/17 at 7:17pm:

I received an email that was sent from Bobby Graves, but the email signature stated another person name; (Torrance Evans). The email stated; “Dear applicant ,

Our company has reviewed your resume published on CareerSource Florida and we are confident you will be able to handle the available position namely"Administrative Assistant/Office clerk and Customer Service Representative " position here at Diamyd Medical.; I am very pleased to invite you for interview for the above post.; The job interview and briefing will take place as follows:; Date: Friday, April 21,2017; Time:9:00 A.M EST; Venue: Online via Gmail Hangout Or Skype.”

You will have an interview with the Hiring Manager,Bianca McCullough. You're required to contact Mrs.McCullough via hangouts by sending her invite on Google Hangouts...Her ID is([email protected]).

You can also contact her on Skype(Send her an invite) via her skype ID [email protected] .The interview will last about 30 minutes. Please email two professional references(Name and phone contact)to the Hr Manager.

If the date or time of the interview is inconvenient, please contact me by email ([email protected]) in order to arrange another appointment.

I did not reply back to the email on 4/20/17.

4/21/17 at 6:45pm:

I have received a text message stating; “ Good day Kristin, Okay, the available position are Administrative Assistance, Customer Service Representative and Office Assistant. The pay for the customer service job is $20.50 and the Administrative Assistance/Office Assistant job is $25.19 an hour. Let me know once you get the message.

I replied to the text message stating; “I am extremely interested, who may I contact to discuss both position?”

I received a text message from Mr. Paul A. Cook; “he reports that he is from Diamyd Medical, he continues to state, “ I am contacting you regards to your resume posted on CareerSource Florida. Your resume has been received, reviewed and approved by the company HR Dept… You are to reply back with Yes interested/ Yes I am for the further details on the job position/location. Thank you.”

I replied back stating; “ Where is the position is located and the position details.

I received the same message again, stating the following. “Okay, the available position are Administrative Assistance, Customer Service Representative and Office Assistant. The pay for the customer service job is $20.50 and the Administrative Assistance/Office Assistant job is $25.19 an hour. Let me know once you get the message.

I replied back asking where the position is located, and the detail of the job description. if the position was located in Florida, if so where in Florida.

Then I got this message; “You were among the (20) ca didates that were selected for an online interview with the Hiring Manager and he will be the one to brief you more about the job position, job location, pay scale, and other company details. The job interview and breiving session is conducted online via Skype or Google Hangout. SO please whch of these Apps. Do you have to get started. I have informed them that I will be on Google Hangout. I was ask to contact the HR manager Mrs. Bianca via Hangouts by sendinger her an invite on her Gmail ID [email protected]. Then I was asked to provide him my email address so the HR manger can send me an invite as well. I provided my email address.

About 7:00pm on 4/21/17; The following was the conversation that took place on Google Hangouts;

Bianca: Hello Kristin??

Myself: Hello??

Bianca: How are you doing???

Myself: I am doing good thank you, how are you doing??

Bianca: I am doing pretty great myself .thank you??

Bianca: I believe you are here and ready for the job interview and briefing session.Correct???

Myself: Yes that is correct??

Bianca: Okay Your verification code for the interview is "7853494" this would serve as your identification number throughout the on-line hiring process. Have it saved somewhere as you will be asked to provide the code later on.Got it???

Myself: Hiring process? I thought this was just an interview.. Ok I am sorry this process is moving way too quickly for me at the moment. i don't know anything about the company, position or anything. I am in the USA and its Friday night. I am just getting ready to sit down with family and friends for dinner. Is there anyway i could do the interview next week once i learn more about the company, position and i can prepare myself. ??

Bianca: The job interview and briefing is done via instant messaging just like we are doing now. You will get to know more about the company ,job location,[ay scale and other details as we proceed further ??

I was not comfortable committing this possible opportunity since I didn’t have an job description, location and other information about the company in order to make the finial decision.

I have researched the company online and I believe I found the company’s website, http://www.diamyd.com When I looked under contacts, it showed that the address was in Stockholm, Sweden. I also looked under the staff listing to see if any of the individuals I have been communicating with is on the list. I did not see any of the individuals I was communicating with listed in the staff contact sheet. Then I looked up, Mr. Paul A. Cook, Bianca, Torrance Evans, and Bobby Graves. I have found that there are no records of any of the individuals even worked for Diamyd Medical. Which I immediately found it concerning. So I basically informed Bianca McCullough, and Paul A. Cook that I was no longer interested in the positon. Bianica and Paul did not reply and both went off line.

Initially contacted by Morris Cirton who claims he reviewed my resume on Ziprecruiter and they are interested in starting the interview process. I now need to either Skype or Google Hangout the hiring manager Bianca McCullough at [email protected]. Once that took place beginning 4/4/17 I was on Hangouts with her for over 2 hours. I kept a record of the interview. I was offered the position but would work from home the first 3 months as the office would not open in Raleigh until then. They would send me a HP laptop to begin my training which would take a week -this would arrive free of charge. They would also send a certified check to buy a desk, chair, cabinet, software from the vendor of their choice and I was to keep $150 out of the certified check as a hiring bonus. Each day I was to connect with Bianca through Hangouts for further instruction. On 4/5/17 I was sent and Offer letter and W4 Form and was told to print it, sign and fill out all the information and return it to Welshy Newton as soon as possible at [email protected]. The letter did not appear professional to me as it was in many fonts. I also contacted Diamyd Medical and provided them with all the names I had been dealing with: Bianca McCullough, Morris Cirton, Welshy Newton, Paul A. Cook and tried to verify if in fact they worked for the company. Linked in only has between 10-20 employees listed and non of them were on the list. Today I was supposed to get the tracking # from Bianca but I informed her that I was uncomfortable with the Offer Letter and I no longer want to pursue the position. She immediately thanked me and went offline.
