Feb. 2020 Spent 50.00 dollars on 2 masks and never received! How do we go after these people? Russ

In early March 2020, I ordered almost $200 worth of N95 masks to prepare for the Covid 19 outbreak. After not receiving anything for a couple weeks, I tried calling and the voicemail said to email them, which I did. Initially I received a response but all the emails I received were written in a general template because every time I ask for specifics about my orders, it was never addressed. I always got some version of some excuse for either items being shipped from Turkey and that they started sending them out in March 13th - however, it's now August and I still have not received any masks. The last couple of emails I sent were unanswered and in the midst of a pandemic, all my finances are important. To lose almost $200 when I could use it for other important emergency items, I made the mistake of trusting this business to follow through on their agreement. They took my money but never gave me the items I paid for.

I ordered N95 masks from this company in February 2020 and have not yet to receive them. I got email in April Dennis Rivera (EM General ) stating there was a delay due to COVID19 and they were in the process to set a warehouse in the USA and would start shipping from the USA from 15-19th of March. Once the order is shipped out the ETA will be 3-5 days. I have emailed for an updated and have not gotten a response. There is not phone number or address in the email response. This company is a SCAM! DO NOT PURCHASE ANY ITEMS FROM THEM!!!!

I paid for two N95 Masks ($59.90) and never received them. I emailed them 4 times, got one standardized response and then nothing. I know the owner has been arrested for wire fraud.

I purchased two N95 masks on February 29, 2020 and as of July 3, 2020, I have not recevied the masks. A relative of mine also purchased two N95 masks on the same date and has not received the masks. On March 18, 2020, I received an email from the "Management Team" that I would receive a tracking number one my order was shipped. The email also states that shipping time would be 6-8 days after I recieve my tracking number, and that I should not cancel because I may not be able to get a mask due to demand. I never received a tracking number nor any other communicaton from EM General. Secondary contact information is [email protected] and (800) 893-1895. I'd be happy to provide more information to the prosecutors.

Website promised but did not deliver N95 masks after purchase; spent $59.90 for merchandise that never arrived.

DO NOT BUY!!! On Feb 28 I spent $95 on 4 N95 Masks. I never received them. I knew there was a red flag in March when I emailed them to ask where my order was then received a response from the "CEO". He said they were getting in a new supply from Turkey and orders would be mailed out on March 18. In April, I followed up again and received the exact same response. I have tried calling the number on their site and sending emails, and those go unanswered now. This company took advantage of people simply trying to prepare for an emergency.

I bought 4 Antiviral N95 Masks from EM General on Feb. 25, 2020. To this date, I contacted EM General via emails 3 times. They kept telling me that my order is delayed. And no refunds and no cancellations. I lost money. I never got these masks.

On Feb 29 2020 I ordered 2 n95 masks from EM General. After numerous attempts to contact thru Email and Phone calls, all I got was automated emails.I found out today on April 28, 2020 The Department of Justice filed 19 fraud charges against Rodney L. Stevenson II for this scam...

This company is an absolute scam and its real owner, a soulless 24 year old kid, is awaiting his wire fraud trial where he faces up to 30 years in prison. Just needed to rant a little, I'm out 20 bucks which is not the end of the world, but some people are out much more - and more than that, to take advantage of people when they're at their most frightened takes a special kind of depravity. I read the BBB report and he also scammed hospitals and healthcare workers. I hope this kid does some well-deserved time.

Scammed out of $40 On 2/28/2020.
I ordered a "Antiviral Mask" from this fraudulent company and never received my purchase. I actually spoke to a representative by the name of Jamaal, who didn't even know how to take my complaint down, nor did he know how to proceed with a refund. I've emailed, I've called, I even tried to get an accurate location on this place. Unfortunately we've all been scammed.

I suggest you all file complaints with your state department of consumer affairs. I did, as I was scammed out of $89.85 for 3 masks that never arrived. If you file the complaints, you can be added to the criminal complaint as a victim in the California case and perhaps get restitution.

I ordered two face mask back on 2/28/20 have yet to receive them..left messages asking for them to return the full amount charged to my credit card. Over 30 emails and numerous calls still no response expect for a generic email response.Totally unacceptable how they shamelessly steal money for customers. I advise anyone considering purchasing anything from this company NOT TO PURCHASE ANYTHING! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

I would like everyone to see that this company is fraudulent.

After waiting 2 months for face masks I emailed the company saying “I understand that everything is taking much longer and I’m sure you are working hard at getting these masks out to everyone, all I was hoping is to find out if you know about when they will be shipped out?” I got a email back saying they are sick of people like me that are rude and trying to get their money back. I tried to tell them I was not trying to be rude but just trying to find out any updates as to when we would be getting them. Their reply was we are not returning your money. (At this point I had not asked for my money back)They will not give their customers any information. Such a rude company. I know it must be hard when masks are in such high demand but the nasty emails are not right. I would never buy anything from this company again!

I purchased a heart monitor watch on 2/16/2020, They charged my credit card, and as of 5/2/2020, I'm still waiting. I've e-mailed them several times. and called, even though the phone call is robo and instructs yo to e-mail your concerns. What a rip off.

Go online and type EM General or Rodney L. Stevenson, II. The guy that took advantage has been arrested for wire fraud, etc. He faces up to 30 years in prison! :)

Ordered two n95 masks in Feb and still have not received them. Sadly, it is impossible to get a refund. They just keep sending out computer generated emails. Scammers at work when humanity is at a low point. Sham on the people behind ‘em general’
Customers Beware

i agree, i keep getting auto generated emails. i was able to get someone on the phone a couple of weeks back who new my name based on the phone number i gave when purchasing but then the line mysteriously went dead. bunch of scammers, i hope they all get the corona virus.

I ordered 3 masks in February 2020 and it is now almost May and I have not received them. I have emailed twice and they respond with a generic email that looks fake. I’ve called the 800# and it says press 0 for operator and goes straight to voicemail. This is a fraud and a scam and they should be arrested for taking advantage of people during a crisis!
