SCAM

This almost worked up until that last email where I was "hired" for the personal assistant job and it was like oh hell no. The person "Angela Amidon" who supposedly hired me doesn't come up on LinkedIn or google. It was all very strange from the start but I really slammed on the breaks after that. They didn't even change the "outdoor adventure" part of the website template to their company name. If you're scamming please do a better job!

Definitely a scam! AVOID

Reading these reviews it’s the same process as what was just happening to me. Hiring Manager went by the name of Jacob Phillips this time. Bogus phone interview where he just read questions of an obvious script and didn’t say anything original then just ended the call afterwards trying to email me over documents. Guys $30/hr to be a personal assistant lol. Can’t be falling for that

Definitely a scam

I looked up Isabella Phillips on LinkedIn and she is a legitimate Recruiter however she is based in Texas and not Washington DC. I knew immediately something was wrong as soon as I received a phone call from 202-807-6080 and no voicemail was left. A legitimate Hiring Manager or HR Rep will ALWAYS leave a message. Have blocked their number and highly recommend cross-checking the contact name on LinkedIn to verify if that is the real person emailing you.

SCAMMER EMPLOYMENT

I WAS DESEPERATLY WANTING TO GO BACK TO WORK - LOST MY FOCUS AND REALLY MISSED THE RED FLAG.

TOOK A WEEK AFTER ENGAGING IN WEBEX- NOTICE THAT FROM START THE PERSON WHO COME FORWARD FROM HIRING TO ONBOARDING WAS DIFFERENT AND ASKING DOCUMENT FILE PERSONNEL OVER AND OVER AGIN - NO CALL OR VIDEO CALL JUST WEBEX CHAT-

LUCKILY I WARN THEM ABOUT MISUSES MY DATA AFTER REALIZE MY MISTAKE ENAGGING WITH THE SCAMMER - WHEN THEY ASK MY CREDENTIAL ETC. IT WAS WRONG FROM START

There was a Personal Assistant opening for Golden Mountain Investment Group on LinkedIn. I applied and within a few hours I received an email from an Isabella Phillips titled "Job Offer". She confirmed the hours, the hourly rate ($29.25), daily tasks, etc. Initially, I noticed some typos, grammatical errors and her email signature was "hiring manager". On LinkedIn the hiring manager had a different name and their profile on LinkedIn shows no information. It seemed sketchy to me from the beginning so before replying I did some research. I could not find "Isabella Phillips" on LinkedIn or any other website. I could not find any additional information about the company itself outside of the website provided (www.goldenmountaininvestment.com). I did not respond to the email and blocked the email the scammer used as well.
