We have been through the exact same scenario as one of the previous victims above. A so called Smith contacted us by phone confirming the desired puppy is still available. I asked him if my friends from Atlanta area can go and see the dog. He said he could take the puppy and meet with my friends somewhere halfway but only after I paid a $500 deposit. He explained that no visits are allowed to their address in Snellville, due to the corona virus. That should have been a red flag, but I thought “hey, this is the corona virus times”, so I moved forward. We communicated for hours via calls, but mostly through texts and emails, given the fact the alleged Mr. Smith had a very interesting heavy African accent that was hard to understand. After assuring me the puppy could be shipped the next day - if I made the payment, unfortunately, in the excitement of purchasing our first pet, I totally ignored any of the red flags, such as Smith’s heavy African accent (he claimed to be from Quebec, Canada) or the fact that they admitted only Cash, Zelle and Venmo apps as form of payment) and I payed for the puppy. He also assured me they’ll ship the puppy the next morning when I’ll receive an email containing info about the purchase and also the shipping details. Next morning I received the email from the shipping company, and that was the moment when I really started to get worried. First of all, the shipping company address was in the same small town in Georgia, Snellville, as the seller’s. Then, in a quite faulty English, I was informed they were about to ship a female puppy instead of our chosen male one. I notified them and Smith said he’ll call the shipping company to correct the error. The puppy was suppose to arrive at 5:00, after 7 hrs trip, and a stop for one last check up at a so called “Life/Stock Ministry & Animals Department Head Quarters in Enterprise, AL.” At this point I knew I let myself fooled by a scam group. Three hours later I had the unequivocal confirmation of the scam when I received an email requesting another $2.175.00 for some form of insurance (Life Pet Travel insurance) and an electronic crate. This was a requirement from the “Ministry of Live-Stock & Animal Husbandry”. It would have been hilarious if it wasn’t painful. Ministry of Live Stock? We don’t have ministers in America. And certainly not a ministry of live stock. That is rather an African thing. And then they said the puppy is about to be shipped to Miami, instead of our city. They didn’t even bother to change the template. Even after I told them I discovered their scam and demanded the full refund, they had the nerve to call and text me trying to convince me to pay the alleged life pet insurance. In the end I had to block their number and I admit I have learned my lesson.

My wife contacted the business about a dog via their contact form on their website on 5/13. She then received an email reply saying the dog was available. After some emails back and forth they sent her a cash app ID to send her deposit ($500). After this took place they never responded back to her. When she told me what happened I sent them a message via thier website later that same day and made an inquiry about the same dog to which they replied that it was still availble. I let them know that my wife had purchased this dog and that we would like our money back now that we had verified that this was 100% a scam. Emails have gone back and forth with them saying they needed to update their "system" and that a "code" would need to be mailed to us prior to them sending us a refund. The last email contact I had with them was on 5/22 which was the day a "code" would arrive. It never came and they have stopped responding to emails.

During this time I was able to connect a few dots with some online research using information from their website and name (Tommy) that was used in our email exchnages.

The address of the busines on thier website (2721 Kingstream Way, Snellville GA 30078) is also associated with a business called Greenfield Bulldog which is listed on the ScamPulse.com with the same Snelville address and also the Heavenly Bulldogs Home website. I called the 740-715-1534 number and received a Google Voice message. I did not leave a message but I did then receive a text message that said "Hello this's Scott the Bulldog Breeder". He claimed he had nothing to do with this but has also gone silent. The address in Snellville belongs to Ana Drummond. With the website phone number (540-860-0531) being from VA, and the person who responded to my online inquiry saying he was Tommy, I took a shot and searched for a Tommy Drummond in VA. I did find a Tommy Drummond and was able to link his family back to Ana Drummond in Snellville. I can provide screen shots of the texts and the emails with these scammers.

I was looking to adopt a puppy and my husband and I found this website. It looked pretty legit and had good reviews. They were having a 50% off all puppies deal too. I emailed about a certain french bulldog puppy I was interested in and got a pretty quick answer. I had asked about prices and if there was shipping because their website said they are located in Georgia. They did not answer this question in the first few emails but finally confirmed the specific amounts for the dog, the shipping, and what my total would be. They explained after they received the payment they would start on switching the ownership paperwork over to me. Then they would talk to the shipping company and work out when they could ship the dog to my house. They told me they could probably ship him out the next morning and we could get him by sundown that same day. It all seemed fine so we decided to go ahead with the process. We were asked to choose between cashapp and zelle to wire the money to them. After paying them I got an email saying there was some delay with the money and we should cancel the payment and send it again. The money had already been taken out of our account. A man with a very thick Indian accent called my husband about the problem. My husband explained the money was already out of our account so we couldn't cancel it. They said okay and said they would figure it out on their end. Then he said he was going to start the paperwork and let me know what was going on through the process. He didn't give me any updates until I emailed him asking for updates the next day. He said he was going to register the dog soon. I told him I thought he already had done that and he said he had done the ownership papers and was working out the shipping arrangements. Soon after that I got an email from a shipping company with the details of the dogs shipment and it said he was already at the shipping place and already went through a health check. I started to get a little suspicious at this point because he had not given me any updates and supposedly the dog was already about to be shipped even though he had said about 10 minutes earlier he was just starting the shipment arrangements but I just went with it. Then about an hour later I received an email from the shipping place saying the dog was at a checkpoint in Wyoming and didn't have the proper crate and insurance for travel. They also told me I must pay a fee of $2,175 to get the proper stuff for the dog to travel. I contacted the seller and he called me. On this phone call I told him I couldn't pay the fee and wouldn't because it was not my issues. He was supposed to insure proper shipment and everything and I had paid my agreed upon price. He said he wasn't home and he was at a meeting(on a Sunday, on mothers day, and during a pandemic) and he didn't have the money either. He seemed supper sketchy and was blaming me for not researching more and saying this had never happened before and I needed to pay for it. I got angry and said he needed to figure it out and how I was starting to feel like this was a scam and he hung up on me. At this point was were sure it was a scam. I got another email from the so called shipping people that said I and the seller could be charged with animal abuse/abandonment if the fees weren't paid. In the end the seller said I didn't care about the animals safety and he didn't want it living in a home like that so he was going to get it shipped back to Georgia. He said he would refund my money when the dog got back and I've emailed him multiply times in hope he might actually refund the money and he has not answered. We have now realized their reviews are all fake, their shipping website is fake, and they are scammers.

There website lists available French Bulldog puppies for sale. Primary means of communication was email at odd hours. They would not provide their AKC information when requested for verification prior to payment. AKC confirmed their registration information should be provided and verified. The “seller” again refused to provide their information, stating that it was against their policy and they have been contacted by the police for clients trying to impersonate them. Fortunately, no money was exchanged.

Additionally, their website does not have the proper Copyright AKC symbols.
