Iamalabrador.com Reports & Reviews (2)

I wanted to purchase a Labrador puppy. Turns out total scam. Communicated via WhatsApp. Initially the guy had a middle eastern accent when I talked to him on the phone. Claimed he would ship the dog in 2 days. For $130. I said I would pay him 1/2 now and the rest when I got the dog. He sent “tracking” number the day the dog was due to arrive. The “shipping” company sent request for $2165 in various fees. I refused to pay, , demanded my money back. Needless to say didn’t get my money back or a dog. Turns out website has stock photos and they have a sister bogus website, magnificentlabradorhomes.com reported on scampulse as well.

These are the same guys running fraudulent magnificentlabradorhomes.com, which also has several fraud reports. Whole sections of text on both websites is identical. I emailed the contact on the website, I was looking to buy a Labrador puppy. Like other people said first red flag was that the puppies were significantly less than the going rate for breeded puppies. I need the I need to this game, so I didn’t know then what I know now. No address or PO Box in the website, just said they were in Henderson Nevada. Puppies were supposedly already 10 weeks old. I now know that when you’re buying from a legitimate breeder you have to place a deposit/get on the waitlist months in advance, and the puppies are placed by eight weeks old. I got a template response to my email inquiry, and was instructed to contact them via WhatsApp. It was a pressured sales page, he immediately furiously sent me pictures and a couple videos of puppies. They said they went $750 for the puppy, and $130 for shipping, that they used a nanny service and they would bring the dog to my front door. I suspected it was too good to be true, but I had my daughter whining and begging in my ear begging for the dog, And my brother who had originally sent me the website and usually has a good scam radar —
his alarms weren’t going off. I asked to speak to the guy, Madu Peterson , on the phone. he had a Middle Eastern accent. I told him I would send half of the payment now and then half and I received the dog. He assured me the dog would be shipped to me within a couple of days. Mid morning on the suppose it day the dog was supposed to arrive, he sent me a tracking number, I’m sure that website/shipping company is fake as well. I then received an email supposedly from the shipping company that demanded that I paid $2165 for miscellaneous charges, pet insurance, especially transport crate, charges to microchip the dog, etc. That I would be refunded 98% of that money once I signed
that I had received the dog. Then finally I knew I had been scammed. I got the guy back on the phone, this time he had a Nigerian accent. He accused me of pet abandonment and pet abuse for not paying The remaining balance for the dog. I had paid via Zelle to [email protected]. I demand my money back. Needless to say this was a few days ago, and I have neither received my money back, nor a dog. Turns out the photos on the website are stock photos.
