called from 405 3838994/4057018888 introduced like a police officer and claimed that I missed the court and it's a contempt of court and asked to pay 7000 dollars and we end up paying 2000 dollars through some cards that they made you buy from the gas station and they took those numbers please be aware these scammers

Just happened to me 01-15-2022
This happens atleast once a month so when they text me I was already suspicious. But I go along with it to make sure it’s not legit and I’m not actually missing out on something. It’s honestly really sad. I’m sure most of us have kids and families to support so why try and scam people ?

I received a text on Nov 1st and now again today. Whoever texted me used the name Jason Wood as well. I had my suspicions and thank god I looked online for similar situations. I would have fallen for it...Here at the texted I received.

BEWARE IT SOUNDS SO LEGIT! $39/hr YEAH RIGHT!

I was contacted through text by someone name peter perkins, they said they saw my resume on INDEED and that I was qualified for the job. At first I was like awesome because I'm in the science field. They sent me an offer of employment signed by Frank Torti (executive chairman of immunovant). They proceeded to want to skype message for the interview (RED FLAG) the hiring manager's name was richard wood but his Skype name was david hunter, I was asked a series of questions then hired on the spot (RED FLAG). They sent me a $1,979.00 start up check through email that was from Southern Auto Auction located in CT (RED FLAG). I was told to deduct $200 for myself and then use the rest to purchase supplies through one of their vendors (RED FLAG). The following day I was contacted by another woman rebecca davis from a different company --star health and allied insurance. The verbiage was identical. I was then contacted 2 days later from the initial number (immunovant) and the person said the same message and said his name was jason wood, when I asked for the hiring manager he said his name is Mr Alexandra Lacavete. I contacted the auto sales place in CT and spoke to the VP, he confirmed he didn't send this or approve the check. SCAM DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.

Just went through the same thing, 3 times. They just used different company names Looking at these remarks, it is uncanny how the texts are exactly the same I called her on it and she got offended, go figure. This is a scam, DON'T fall for it,

They texted me the following: and tried to get my drivers license ( see pics attached of texts

They used call to text subscriber number from 405-383-8994 and proceeded to tell me that their talent team found me and would like to conduct an interview with a woman named Jessica Wood. I figured it was a scam but played through and went on Skype. The interview was through chat and I ended up asking how do scammers have so much time to do this. She said it wasn't going to work and the end. That number repeatedly texted me with question marks which was a red flag. Also, a company will never want to conduct an online interview without first calling you. Don't fall for this bull crap.

Similar situation here, just posts this for fun.

Send me text message and offered 50$hr

Good Day, I'm Mr. Henry Bradely from the company (IMMUNOVANT INC). Your resume has been reviewed on Indeed and you have been selected for an online interview with us for the Customer Service/Administrative Assistant/Data Entry position. Reply back if interested.

They are now using the name James Williams. This is a scam, Immunovant uses company email addresses @Immunovant.com NOT @Immunovant.us

I believe this is a scam because it’s too good to be true and it’s similar to all the comments on here regarding it being a scam

I just did a report for a Paul Edwards Hiring Manager for Immunovant Inc. supposivly. I contacted a person at Immunovant and he said it was a scam. No one by that name in the company directory.

This is what happened after I received the chk which by the way came FedEx and your supposed to contact him immediately when it comes in. I played along even though I knew it was a scam.
Mr. Jack Griffo told me to deposit it in my bank (NO FREAKIN WAY!) through the mobile app. He wanted me to use USAA bank, I told him I don’t bank with them, then he asked who I bank with I said PNC and he said to make the mobile deposit ASAP...sooo I played along. I waited for just a few minutes and came back to him and told him I was having problems logging in and didn’t understand why or what the problem was (there wasn’t a problem I just wasn’t gonna deposit a fake chk but wasn’t telling him that!), then I told him I’d contact the bank in the morning and get back with him. Sooo, I went to the bank, turned it in, the bank chkd all the information on the chk said the numbers didn’t match up (which I knew) and they we’re gonna sent the fake chk over to their fraudulent department and thanked me for turning it in. Soooo when I told Mr Griffo that I went to my bank to deposit the chk, right away he said “I TOLD YOU to deposit it through your mobile app!” I told him, “ I DONT deposit ANYTHING without going through my banker first especially since it’s such a big chk it’s for my protection!” “And lucky for me my banker says your chk numbers don’t match!” “Dude, you’ve scammed the wrong person!”
Haven’t heard from him since

Please be aware people, if their sending YOU a chk in the mail...RUN! It’s NOT REAL PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT DEPOSIT!
Turn it into your bank’s fraudulent department

With me this all began with a lady named "Mrs. Rosa Blasia" texting me at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. (BIG Flag but played along.) She said she found my information on indeed (not sure how since I done use Indeed)
She wanted to set me up with a chat interview with a gentleman named Jack Griffo. And asked me to download the Whatsup App., RED FLAG, who does an interview at 8:30pm on a Saturday night on this kinda App... I mean really).
So I played along and chatted with Mr. Griffo. He introduced himself as : I am Mr. Jack Griffo (57). I am one of the Human Resources Officer to (IMMUNOVANT INC.). I will be the one to brief and interview you more about the opening position. Please introduce yourself indicating your full name and location. Thank you!
So I in turn introduced myself.
Next, he proceeded to tell me about the company (while I was researching it)
He basically did a copy/paste off the internet
As follows:
About : IMMUNOVANT INC.

Immunovant is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on enabling normal lives for patients with autoimmune diseases.

Our investigational product candidate, IMVT-1401 (formerly known as RVT-1401), is a novel, fully human monoclonal antibody targeting the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn). We believe that this product has the potential to address a variety of IgG-mediated autoimmune diseases as a subcutaneous injection.

We have initiated Phase 2 studies in two target indications: myasthenia gravis (MG) and thyroid eye disease (TED). We submitted an IND for one additional indication, warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (WAIHA), in November 2019. We plan to continue expanding our pipeline with innovative therapies that could transform the lives of patients living with autoimmune diseases.
He then told me about the pay 49.87hr and 15.75hr for training. He wanted to know if I wanted to work full or part time. In their location or home (red flag). After all that stuff, He finally went into all the job duties, then what kind of computer I had, company benefits, etc. then ask me an array of questions and after that put me on hold for about 5 minutes then came back (again red flag), with congratulations you are hired! Then wait for it...goes into detail what I need to buy with the CHECK their sending me! Sooo I let them send me the chk...4,650.45 and turned it into my bank and they couldn’t thank me enough for being so diligent about it.

If it weren’t for people like you posting this stuff, others would never know!

It all began with someone named "Mrs. Rosa Blasia" texting me at 9:30pm on a Friday night. (BIG Flag. I played along.) She said she found my information on indeed.
She set me up with a chat interview with one "Jack Griffo" who initially stated he worked for "Vintage Energy". I assume they are running scams using more than one company name. When I asked for more information about the company, he later gave me Immunovant and a copy/paste of their company profile.
After a very sorry attempt at an interview via chat on Skype, all the while I'm researching them and reading these other reports from others who were scammed. The whole process was concluded with a job offer and some check cashing scam. Here's an alert to scammers. If you're looking to make money from a check cashing scam, you should target people with money - the employed lol.. Those of us who are unemployed generally don't have any. That's why we're looking for a job! Ya [censored]es. And your little kindergarten scam is so apparent my neighbor's 10 year old was on to you. But alas, I had enough entertainment for one day. Thanks for the fun. Now go get a job! Like I'm trying to do.

- Wild Rose, WI, USA

I received a text message from a Sullivan Peterson (phone # 414-934-6927) with Immunovant Inc about my resume being received and had been reviewed by their online recruitment & that if I was interested to respond “YES” to his message. He advised that there were multiple positions available. In the text message I was instructed to download the app Telegram.org and login. From there I was given the contact info for the HR manager Mr john Rodriquez with a phone number of 717-739-6019 for an interview. The entire interview was conducted through the app Telegram.

I was then given a brief description of Immunovant Inc. and what they did along with all the positions that they were needing to fill. I was asked a series of questions that I was informed to mainly answer “Yes” or “OK”. At the end of the interview I was asked to hold on for 10 - 15 minutes while they reviewed my answers. Mr. Rodriguez came back with a response that I was hired on the spot. Then I was told a check would be sent to me & that I would need to deposit the check into my bank account where funds would been the available for withdrawal to purchase equipment needed/ required for the position from their approved vendor. Was advised that this was for accounting purposes to see how I could handle money with following directions.

I have worked for remote positions before and they never sent a check to be deposited into my personal bank account to purchase equipment. All needed equipment was sent directly from the company already set up with all appropriate software.

Be very cautious!!! The pay sounds great, $15/ hour during the 2 week training and then $30/ hour once training is completed. Knew this was too good to be true, nothing is ever this easy especially when they do not ask anything about your education or certifications.
