I have gone through the interview and hiring process with this fake HR person on Telegram. I did give them my name phone and email, but no banking or ss#. I will delete them from my telegram conversation. It's too bad that they think they can get away with this. I did try calling several of the supermarkets in Florida and the number listed on BBB, but there was no help available. BEWARE!

Guess they’re still at it because I got the same exact message tonight! I wonder how many people will actually fall for that and how good people can put a stop to scammers like this!

I received a text message saying that my resume was found via CareerBuilder - funny thing is that my resume is NOT on CareerBuilder. I looked up HR persons name and couldn’t find anything on her; however, there is a website for Presidente Supermarkets. Looks like this scammer is now moving onto other businesses. I’ve attached the text message - looks exact the same as you have all been receiving but different names and different company. Everyone please be careful- sad state of affairs when legit people are looking for legit work from home and the scammers start circling.

I appreciate everyone that has reported these scammers. This morning I received the same text just different names. Since I have worked in the international market I was familiar with the company out of Mexico. I did my research first, because I never applied for this company at all. It all sounded to good to be true, usually international companies have a solid HR department that normally are setup in the company’s name but registered through US labor guidelines and codes. Remember anything that sounds to good to be trues is NOT!

This company tried to scan me.. they even sent a fake check via email. That is when I knew for certain it was a scam.. Note: The interview will be a virtual phone interview online via Telegram on Monday to Friday between 8am and 8pm. The pay is 23-33$ per hour. This is a remote job position. You will have to work from home until the company is able to setup a physical location in your area. Kindly download Telegram Messenger. If you have one use it to contact the hiring manager now to schedule an interview. Then they sold a bunch of lies of how they were going to open a company near the town I live in and could continue working remotely.

**She never asked for the verification code during our conversation.

While using the app to talk to Lisa, she said she was the Sr. Talent Acquisition Leader at ENVASES group and gave me the following website to review Envases.mx.eng. Which is an ACTUAL company.

She explained the following:

Pay is $30.50/hr for full-time or part-time and it’s work from home. Benefits are included and she listed them all. Within the first 6 months the company will be setting up a new office. After it’s built you will have the choice to either work from home or you can work in the office. They ask you how you want your check, paper or direct deposit. How do you want your name to read on the check. They further proceed to say that the company will pay for everything you need to successfully work from home. They will send you a high speed HP computer along with a W-2. She explains they have dealt with this top notch vendor for software which is why they will email you a check for immediate deposit. You are to sign it and write “for mobile deposit only.” The vendor does business only through “cash” apps such as Venmo, Zelle, etc. She describes the business, what they do and places a lot of emphasis on “quality”. Then she asks about 10 questions, tells you to hang on and you either have the job or you don’t... at the end of the conversation she “tells” you to meet her on this platform the next morning without any consideration, communication about your life or schedule. She proceeds with the “CHECK” process and asks you to write an article on a number of different subjects, for instance “how to manage cash flow”.

Then she waits until 7pm that night to again “tell” you to meet her the next morning at 8am.

The person who sends you the check is an “@gmail.com” account. The checks that I received happened to be REAL checks, from ACTUAL companies.

This is a huge mess! Keep your guard up, stay smart and stay safe. If you don’t receive a video interview or in person interview and if there is no full salutation with name, company, address, website, phone number, AND pay attention to the LOGO. ALSO, the checks were sent from other businesses.

She has 2 titles that are completly different jobs? she proceeded to tell me the pay is $30.50 a hr and its work from home. after her asking simple non phishing questions i was told I would be recieving a HP laptop and a W-4. Along with a check to purchase some softwear. This is flag #2/3, $30.50 for wrok from home and later she changed it to $34 and that I would recieve my W-4 at the same time as a laptop? The next flag was her asking for my DL or SSN. I told her i would be happy to provide this to someone in person but over the phone. She then said okay and asked for my name, address, cell#, and email. Flag #5 was how she said I was to pay for the software. from a "trusted vender" that only accepts Cash App, Zelle, or Zenmo and I was to keep $100 for myself as a signing bonus. after this i was told to be ready the next morning at 8am. I was asked to write an article, while i did so she sent me a email with a check for $2,359.16 from a company that ive never heard of and not the one she claimed to have worked for. This was obviasly a fake check. I asked why isnt it from Envases and she wrote its from a afiliate company and then I asked why her email was a gmail adress and not from Envase. She has stopped replying. THIS IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFO TO THESE PEOPLE!!!

I absolutely guarantee you that was not a valid check… They can literally send postal money orders that looks so real even the post office have a hard time differentiating!

Abort and report ASAP.
This makes me angry. Why scam someone looking for employment?

I wasted a LOT of time doing interview videos ect. I realized it was a scam one the contact person kept randomly calling me from what’s app. Then my form of payment was the focus.

Do NOT give them any information. Especially bank info.

I received a text message April 9, 2021 from Rebecca Leigh that you can see below. I then spoke with a Lisa Henderson via Telegram who went through a bunch of interview questions and then when I accepted the job, offered $33.95/hr, asked for my email, address, phone, and name. I then received a “check” for company equipment through a Nicole Himler at a gmail.com. When I said I was passing on the job offer, all messages were deleted by Lisa Henderson. I then asked for a video chat before accepting to which she deleted again. The last message I questioned her and she never responded. SCAM!

No phone number worked : WhatsApp was not legit (imagine that)

I already have a job and was trying to figure out what scam this was. Lots of mistakes in the text is a rip off as well.

Did a search for the phone numbers and one said debt collection.

Same thing happened to me - April 8, 2021. First contacted by text by a Rebecca Leigh at ENVASES. Then told to contact Lisa Henderson in Human Resources via telegram app. Phone # 18153015006. She asked me a series of questions via Telegram & then told me I was hired. Next I was asked for my age, address, bank name, DL or SS number. I was told they would send me a HP laptop & money sent to me by email to purchase computer programs to load on my computer. Also told to take a picture of my office & send it. I knew this had to be a scam. Remote job paying $33.50 an hour. Sounded too good to be true which scams are. Tried to find these 2 ladies names on Internet & found nothing. I deleted them from my contacts.

I was texted by a "Imposter - Roger Germninder" via text message offering an Administrative Assistant job at ENVASES. I was directed to contact "Imposter - Dave Mayers" via Telegram app. His phone was 3856661093. His telegram username was @humanresourcedesk. Once contacted, interview questions were asked, starting with a form asking for employment, DOB, birthplace, school, major, address, etc. Also was asked for a short video.

A second list of questions was asked which ended asking for my bank name. After a few minutes, I was asked to provide any form of ID or SSN, as well as a snapshot of my workspace, under the ruse of a remote job.
