I applied for a job through Indeed.com. This "John" contacted me saying that I will need to go through the hiring process but first they'll send me a check to cover all the equipment expenses. I knew from that point that it was a scam. He did send me a check but I obviously did not deposit it. He still thinks I am interested as I am telling him that I have deposited the check (which I have not). I called the real company and they said over 150 people have been scammed by this guy. Please end this as soon as possible. Thank you!

I'd been texted by 314-912-9496 about a job that I applied for through Indeed.com. Asked me to set up a Telegraph app account. We IM'ed a bit. She offered me a job. I I did some online searches for GT Biopharma, and they seemed legitimate. I was a little hesitant to accept it and kept watching for signs, but they weren't obvious. I feel stupid, of course. We called our bank promptly, and I'm reporting this to you.

(See attached document) I responded with my answers, The questions were all related to the specific job and seemed very legitimate because they had in depth questions that only a video editor would be able to answer (See attached document). None of the questions on the questionnaire asked for personal information. I unfortunately responded with my personal letterhead which contains my mailing address and my physical address and appended the questions to the document. (So now they have my name, email, mailing address, physical address, phone number.)

The two emails I interacted with are: [email protected] and [email protected]

The purchase a video editing system that they are asking me to purchase from their accredited vendors can easily be estimated starting from $2000 up to $10000.

I have contacted the real ASG company human resources by phone and their internal message system available on the real company website, but I have not heard back from them. They are a massive company and
