International Benefits Administrators Reports & Reviews (1)

- Baton Rouge, LA, USA

In October, 2018 I received a phone call about selecting a health insurance. The insurance I was participating in was much too expensive but was the best I could afford after retiring. The sales representative asked if I had pre-existing conditions, I clearly stated that I am a diabetic, not on insulin, but taking prescriptions to maintain control. I was informed by the representative that I qualified and that he could provide an affordable PPO. Between October 2018 and October 2019 the company at least paid a portion of my doctor visits and lab work. Then, in 2020 completely stopped paying anything and the clinic begin sending me unpaid portions as far back as 2018 stating that the insurance refuse to pay their portion. As of today, the company cannot/will not provide me with "written" information about what my coverage includes. When I checked the ScamPulse.com website I noticed similar complaints. I also noticed that the company has the ScamPulse.com logo on their site stating they are "A+ Accredited" although the ScamPulse.com states that the company is not accredited by the BBB. Over the past 2.5 years, I have paid over $8,000 into this company and now wonders if it is actually a company.
