I got this is the mail yesterday. I reread it a couple times and knew this was a scam...telling me to “keep this away from the public” and I had to be in Madrid Spain to pickup was a couple of the red flags I saw

- Cottage Grove, WI, USA

I received a letter from Kenrik Cruz, General Secretary in Madrid Spain stating that I had won the Mega Lottery Picker in January, but due to a mix up in names & numbers they were just contacting me now. The letter state that it was US Govt. approved and that I was to contact Dr. Sergio Robert, the Foreign Service Manager for further instructions. The letter stated that I had won 4.5 Million and stated that if I could not show up in Spain to pick it up they would deduct 5% of the winnings. I did not buy a ticket for the Mega Lottery Picker in Spain and knew it was a scam and did not call the number.

- Hartford, WI, USA

I received a letter from the Euromillion Lottery stating that I had won $2,800,000 in the January 13, drawing. Due to a mix up in names and numbers they were just notifying me in June. I did not buy a ticket for an overseas lottery. I did not call them.

I received a letter from the Mega Lottery Picker in Spain stating that I had won the lottery, but due to a computer ballot glitch, winners picked in January were not being notified until now. It said that I had won $4 million and that I needed to call an international number to claim the prize. I called the ScamPulse.com to see if this was real.

- Berlin, WI, USA

I received a letter in the mail from Mega Lottery Picker, Madrid, Spain. According to the letter I had won $4.5 Million. I was told to call 404-717-3414, where I spoke to Tony Scott. (with an accent) I was told I would need to pay $950 for a transfer fee to get the money. I was to wire the money. I knew that it was a scam.

We are being told we have won a lottery prize, lottery software or powerball, and we must go to the Madrid Spain office or we can get it sent to us if we send money for a home delivery or an international bank wire transfer to our account. The scammer says this is US approved and the deadline is Nov 25, 2016. We would receive $4,500.000.00.
