Microsoft Repair Scam Reports & Reviews (1)

Was flipping though a FB post when I got a message that completely took over my computer screen saying my computer was blocked and infected and that people could access my personal details and to contact Microsoft repair ASAP. Called the number but it sounded like a tv was playing in the background. Person who answered was female, possibly of Indian descent. She asked if I could hear her and I said yes. She then asked about the problem and said she was a remote Microsoft verified repair agent. She told me to push the window button and the r key and asked what was happening. The window went away but at this point I was suspicious and told her I would call back if there was a problem and hung up. I have changed my phone passcode but am worried that the “yes” was recorded and can be used. Beware of this scam.
