Mid-West Auto Parts Reports & Reviews (9)

This guys are in New Jersey

While searching for a transmission I was contacted by Kevin Oliverira asking about the details of the car. I told him what I had, he said they a transmission with 91,000 miles for $950 delivered. They said they were ScamPulse.com so I checked to verify. All I found were several reviews on scampulse regarding them. They are taking thousands from people selling auto parts that are never delivered.

Thank you Mrs Ewing for your Kind Words

Good Evening,

I just reported a scam charge to my debit card and wanted to email you supporting documentation to speed up the investigation process and get my money refunded to me. I thought I was purchasing a used transmission for my 2011 Scion tC. I never received a receipt for the $1450 my debit card was charged 7/20/22. I was advised the transmission would ship 7/22 or 7/25 and be delivered to my repair shop 7/29. I scheduled a repair appointment for my car 8/1/22. On Monday 7/25/22, I contacted Craig Davis and was told there was a shortage of workers in the facility to pull parts out of cars and my order would ship 7/27. On the afternoon of 7/27, I contacted Craig again and requested tracking for my shipment and the receipt to be emailed to me. He informed me that the part was picked up in Detroit, MI by ABF Freight and tracking would be available Thursday morning. I contacted my mechanic and rescheduled the repair for Wednesday 8/10. I have contacted Craig several times since asking for tracking information and my receipt and have received neither and the transmission has not been delivered to my mechanic. The last contact I had with Craig Davis, was Monday 8/1 when he said he was still waiting for the tracking information from Unishipper (a broker). He has not responded to my calls, texts, or voicemails today. I expressed to him that the transmission needed to be delivered by 8/3/22 at the latest because my mechanic would be on vacation and my car was scheduled for repair the day he returned to the shop. I decided to contact the email addresses listed on the website and as you can see from the screenshots below, they were returned as undeliverable. I have also included a screen shot of the website for the supposed business I ordered from detailing their contact info. Additionally, Googled the phone number which brought up the website https://www.scampulse.com/mid-west-auto-parts-reviews. I have included reviews of this company found on the website below. 1 review states the part purchased was bad and the company has stopped answering/returning calls after claiming it would honor their warranty. The other states that several charges were made against their credit card, but the part was never received. I have all the text correspondence saved on my phone. I was told the total cost of the transmission would be $1925 ($1850 + $75 additional for a liftgate truck to deliver to my mechanic). I was told there would be 2 charges - 1 for the transmission and 1 for the freight charges when it shipped. Since I was never charged for the freight charges (thankfully) and never provided any tracking information, the obvious deduction is there was never any shipment despite being told the order shipped. I have worked in manufacturing for many years and have dealt with freight carriers (both Domestic & International) on a regular basis, I know that there is tracking information provided immediately upon shipment from carriers and brokers.

On 9/13/21, I was in the process of searching online for an engine for my son who is stranded in Wyoming. While searching for a 2016 Ford F150 engine, Mid-West Auto Parts website came up in the search. I called (973)-435-6559 and spoke with Issac Reyes. He confirmed that they had an engine in stock. I read the custom reviews on their website. Alex informed me that once my credit card information was provided to secure the engine, I would receive a tracking number and receipt for the engine. I received a fake receipt with a different company mailing address that does not match their website. I NEVER received a tracking number and still have yet to receive a tracking number. My credit card was charged 4 different times, 4 different amounts, and using 3 different company names. I was charged on 9/15 $1200 (Paypay Speedway), 9/21 $204 (Freight Center), 9/22 $225 (Gosnells Auto Parts) and 10/4 $167.38 (Gosnells Auto Parts). None of the amounts on my credit card match the amount quoted for the engine. Also, they continued making charges on my credit card until I closed my account. They will not return any of my calls and I have not received an engine or tracking information. This company is a FRAUD! People need to be warned. My son is stranded in Wymoing. We are having to being the search all over again.
