JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Quality Control Associate

Type: Part Time

WHO WE ARE

Our company specializes in managing e-commerce orders and delivering goods all

over the world. Being a subsidiary of MyUs (www.myus.com) allows us to be in close

partnership with the largest online retailers in the U.S. and abroad. Those

partnerships give us direct access to their nationwide fulfillment centers and

warehouses.

Our goal is to enhance each customer’s experience when they place their order on the

e-Commerce platforms that we service. Essentially – we act as the middle point

between buyers and seller by making sure that both parties are satisfied with their

transaction.

We make sure that all the products are as described, pictured, and that they meet the

quality expectations. This process saves the e-commerce industry billions of dollars

that are spent on processing returns due to incorrect items or poor quality orders.

WHAT WE DO

We collaborate with many e-commerce platforms, from small – at home-operated

online stores, to major multi-billion dollar corporations. And of course, we simply

cannot forget to mention one of our top partners – Amazon.com. On behalf of

Amazon, we act as Quality Control Hub for newly registered Amazon sellers, and

sellers with an “above the average” customer return rate. This is a cost-cutting

technique for Amazon, and is best described as follows:

www.midproqualitycontrol.com

It is a well-known fact that most of the products that we purchase on Amazon.com

every day – is not actually sold by Amazon, but rather sold “on” Amazon by third

parties. There are two types of sellers on Amazon:

1. FBM sellers (Fulfilled by Merchant) – where an item is being sold on Amazon but

actually fulfilled by the merchant himself.

2. FBA sellers (Fulfilled by Amazon) – where a merchant or anyone who wishes to

sell on Amazon can send in their goods directly to an Amazon warehouse and

have it fulfilled by Amazon itself whenever the item is sold.

SPECIFICS OF THE JOB

Our main workload is focused on FBA seller. Most of the newly registered FBA sellers

are required to send in their product to a Quality Control center for inspection prior to

the product being stored and sold on Amazon. Also, some current sellers with an

above-average customer return rate are required to periodically send in their

products for Quality Control. Quality Control is being done for the following reasons:

- Confirming that it is a safe product to be stored at the Amazon warehouse,

making sure that it is not flammable or hazardous.

- Making sure that the product is in good condition (not damaged or broken).

- Making sure that the product is as described/pictured.

After performing a Quality Control – all the data is sent out for review. Upon the

completion of the review process, we are provided with an Amazon warehouse

destination for the reviewed product.

We deal with Amazon sellers with different products from various categories. Some

seller are manufacturing their own products, others resell goods that were purchased

from other platforms at a discount. We divide our Amazon seller into 3 categories:

? Resellers that have purchased their product on other e-commerce platforms and

are selling it on Amazon.com for a profit.

? Someone that is selling an unwanted gift, or a product that they have ordered

by mistake and cannot return at the store.

? Professional sellers. Are usually sellers that have a below the average return

rate. Most of the time they are ordering products from other e-commerce

platforms, and are reselling them on Amazon for a steep discount (at times for

no profit or a loss) in order to get more positive reviews and decrees their

customer return rate.

Due to the fact that many sellers order their product on third party e-commerce

platforms for resell – you will be receiving their orders directly from those stores and

with the client’s name as the recipient. Also, due to the resell strategy of some

Amazon sellers that choose to order their products directly from other e-commerce

platforms – you will be required to remove and recycle all the packing slips and

original receipts from all the packages. This is done to ensure that future buyer on

Amazon.com will not receive a product with an incorrect invoice from a different e-

commerce platform.

PAYMENT

- For each processed order/package you will be paid $40.

- You will be receiving an average 135 packages a month.

- You will be paid on a monthly basis.

- During your probationary period, you would be receiving less than the average

number of packages. This is done so that you could gradually get used to the

required workload.

- The number of packages that you will be receiving will depend on two factors:

processing speed, and inspection quality. And will be automatically determined

by our algorithm.

- If there are any delays with previous orders/packages – our algorithm will stop

sending new orders.

- If your processing speed and inspection quality are above average – you will be

placed on top of the receiving list and will notice an increase in incoming orders.

DAILY TASKS

1. Receive packages at your own address.

2. Open and examine all incoming packages/orders.

3. Remove previous packing slips/invoices.

4. Input your inspection data.

5. Contact your supervisor in order to receive instructions and Shipping Labels.

6. Arrange to ship (both drop-off and pick-up) via USPS, UPS, and FedEx

(Shipping Labels will be provided).

7. Keep a record of all the shipped and received orders.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Following our policies, procedures, and regulations, you will be responsible for

handling and facilitating product shipments to Amazon. You will be required to

manage delivered goods with accuracy, efficiency and time planning. Managing the

flow of orders requires an ability to multitask, in order to coordinate delivery pick-ups

and drop-offs for your orders. Also, you will be required to quickly manage any

delivery delays, such as Quality Control issues, damaged or improperly packaged

goods.

REQUIREMENTS

? Basic computer skills – you will need to access your Control Panel and input

your Quality Control data. Download and print your Shipping Labels.

? Ability to present information to your supervisor effectively.

? Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or

oral instructions.

? Ability in dealing and managing delivery issues.

This fake company hired me thru indeed.com to mailout their products, but when it came to payday they erased my login information and never sent out my check. I worked them a month and kept all my receipts .

i looked up the domain number from my phone.

I contacted the company cloudfare that they use to host and they said they would tell the crooks that I'm trying to report them.

I gave my banking information and everything in the beginning .I lost my job because of this job that i found out was fake this week. Luckily I went to a job fair Monday and got a new job . When i kept asking about my check to receive deposit ,then blocked my access to their control site. I kept all receipts and realize thru the tracking information where they are.

Same here got injured and looking from a work from home job to help with income. This seems like it was good for me to do to help. I did research the company and looked legit & received some very expensive items which again made it seem legit. They owe me $560 for work being done. I have sent emails asking about pay and had no responses now I’m locked out of the control panel - what a joke.

+1

I worked for this company for a month n never got paid n also had my apt rated because they also use a stolen card to purchased items that was send to my address. I was never paid $550 total

+1

Same here... I've worked for them for a month, was supposed to get paid based on the packages I inspected and posted. A week went by, and interestingly, I can't login to the portal. So far no answer from the contact person... I also looked up the company, seemed legit. I wasn't suspicious during the month, because unlike many other scams, noone asked for any money on my part, and the shipping labels wee also paid for - not to mention that I still have some pretty high value packages unposted in my apartment. In the worst case, I might sell those, but be careful, everyone!

+1

I got the same email. I worked for this so called company for about a month. I got my packages and then sent them like I was told to and Now I can't even log in. But I looked everything up and it was all on the up and up so I went with it. They owe me $200.00 which I was supposed to get March 26th.

+1

They emailed I researched the company for days making sure it was legit. I never found anything bad just good so I accepted their offer I gave them my banking for direct deposit since I had surgery and thought it would be easier. I did my probation time and saw I didn't get paid on the 22nd of this month as I was suppose to. I emailed my so called supervisor jenny and nothing. I had one package left I let her know it's been sent I am now owed $400 and want to be paid time is mkmey this is considered employment they set the was and til I get paid I won't ship another package out. I went to sign in and I can't says invalid user/ password. I thought it would be easier then going out to look for work since everyone I did I ended up in a car accident cuz someone was stupid and I was ending up on the operating table being put back together. So lesson learned and I'm not happy about it

+1

Do u still have there packages

I did the packages as requested I was to get paid 2 days as they said and the time came and went I gavey banking information for direct deposit and when I started pushing on getting paid what will now be $400 they deleted my account so I can't log in . I have the proof that filled everything. Out and never deleted the email that was used and the supervisor I had is named jenny. I'm out of time and money and want what I was to be paid. I only did it because everything I researched showed it was a legit company. Now they have my banking info to boot.

+2

Hi everyone, thank you so much for alerting me earlier because I could have fall on their trap the minute they ask for my bank account I was like no way I can't do that because I don't even know the company well and I didn't even speak to no one only received an emails saying that I got hire, I don't even remember when I did application for their company to hire me.

+1

I got scammed, they have my banking information

I just ended my probationary period. I inspected my first package on around June 6th. I have given up 6 weeks of my life for a total of $400 (in which I have not been paid on the 13th as it says in the control panel? with very high hopes of getting the the average of 135 per month that Midpro stated I would get after probation. I cannot get anyone to reply back in the control panel or email as to what I can expect from here on out. Did I fail? I thought I did a great job. What has happened? No communication at all. I do not understand. I gave up 5 weeks committed to doing this work knowing i would not make much. but now I need packages to ramp way up if I am to survive. Thanks John William Thayer Jr. I GOT SCAMMED..AATACHED ARE WHERE THE PRODUCTS WERE SHIPPED

+1

Told me what I can do bit since I get ssdi I can't close that acct til the money goes in since it takes social security a month to change things. So call your bank let them know what happened. I did 2 weeks if research on the company and it all came showing it was a legit company so you aren't alone

I GOT SCAMMED.

I just ended my probationary 30 period. I inspected my first package on around June 6th. I have given up 6 weeks of my life for a total of $400 (in which I have not been paid on the 13th as it says in the control panel? with very high hopes of getting the the average of 135 per month that Midpro Quality Control stated I would get after probation.

BUT THIS WAS A SCAM

+1

Thank you all, I just received the same emails and had a lot of questions myself; such as the 135 x $40 mis-calculations as well. I just sent an email asking for a number to speak with someone; bet I don't ever receive one back! The old saying holds true; if it seems to good to be true, then it probably is.

+1

I've received the same and I had a big concern about the emails and the way they are offering the job especially I'm not a US resident! I was sure it is a scam because the emails are not from a company email ID. till I saw this review now I know I was right.
Mid Pro Quality Control is a scam!

+1

I got hired by Mid Pro Quality Control, i though it was too good to be true ,but honestly i didn't think it over twice since i lost my job after COVID and we were needing money. i started working for them, after 2 packages i felt that it was too good to be true and it is fishy, i started reading and i came to see that it could be a fraud, now i want out, i am trying to call them but no phone, email them and it is bouncing back! i dunno what to do plz help

+4

If they are still sending u package pls take them cuz it’s a lot off ppl who never got pay for the work they do If want to be help for send some ppl who never got paid those package to sell n make there money that is owe to them . Because this is not right

I was searching for a job online and i got this Ad saying quality control, from Mid Pro Quality Control so i applied and they sent me a questionnaire by mail saying that this is their screening process, so i answered everything. couple of days later they said I am hired and made me sign a contract saying 1 month probation, i need to check and inspect all packages and reship them, i did specify if it was illegal or if the packages have anything illegal and they answered by NO, so after couple of days i though t it is not right, there is something fishy here i am receiving defected items (through i received only 3 packages before trying to call this whole thing off) and the pay is 40$ per package, then i see my address on the package addressed to by under another name! it is not right. i emailed them again saying i am not comfortable and i need to stop that work, the email bounced back, the website has a contact us form that does not work and i am still getting packages! i need to stop this and i do not want to be involved in it as it is fishy! it is my mistake i was eager to take the job coz i lost my job after COVID and we were really needing one! but now after couple of days doing this i don't feel good and i want out! what do i do?

Thanks for not letting me have to go through this, I suspected as much when I calculated 135 X 40, I should have known. All I did was say yes I accept. I didn't give my route info or acct info to them thank God. And it only pays monthly which wasn't a deal-breaker as I've already landed a good job online I can work from home. But the extra money would have been great. Thanks again.

+7

I have all emails received from company saved.

I am a former employee of Amazon and e-Bay. Orders are not shipped to a person for review then re-packaged just to be sent to an Amazon warehouse. Quality control is done before items are received/shipped by Amazon. When a packing slip is included in an order it ships directly to the person who ordered it not disposed of and substituted with a different one. If this was a legit process there would be no need for any returns due to damaged or incorrect items received. This company (scam) sent me a "Your hired welcome to the team" email within 1 day of my request for more information on the position. No interview, background or credit check. Working from home requires an ethernet fully hardwired connection as well as a vpn, you are dealing with people's information. And $40 per package with an average of 135 packages a month is a joke. If it was that easy there would be a long waiting list to be hired.
