At the beginning of April 2022, I was looking for a pair of chairs for my Airbnb. I found one on Wayfair that I loved and thought was perfect for my rental. Unfortunately, Wayfair only had one chair left in stock. I frantically scoured the internet to find another to complete my pair. It was a basic design and was a basic chair from a company that I found that many online retailers carried. Every website I went to was sold out of this specific color of the chair I needed. I cannot remember if there was a targeted ad or if it was a "sponsored" google ad (meaning one of the bought ads on the google search page that makes the specific website show higher on the search list) by Migliore Furniture but I saw that this company had the exact chair and color in stock. I also saw they were having a sale which was a plus since I was buying furniture for a rental property. The website looked very professional and had wide variety and quantity of furniture and decor available. I quickly bought the chair that same day. I purchased the chair with my bank debit card. I placed my order on April 15, 2022. After completing the purchase, I did receive an email from Milgliore Furniture with order confirmation and stating that I would receive an email with tracking when my order is shipped out. After a week and a half of not hearing from the company, I reached out. I emailed and called and left voicemails (using the phone call provided on their website) multiple times with no reply. I finally got a reply via email from Mr. Kunteya Kataria on May 4 2022 saying that my order is to be shipped on Monday May 9th and my order should be delivered by Friday May 13th "at the latest". Mr. Kataria also mentioned that I should expect an email with tracking information. I never received a tracking email or my chair. Tuesday May 17th I reached out to Miligore Furniture to follow up. I didn't receive an answer. I have since called multiple times, emailed constantly, contacted Miligore on their social media and nobody has replied or attempted to assist me. Now their voicemail box is full and I can no longer leave messages. While on their social media, I found several other customers of them that are going through the same thing. They have said that they are trying to get their money back and that it is a frustrating and degrading process. I did some research and Mr. Kataria has multiple sketchy businesses and llcs in his name. Some of those businesses also claim 80 Quinnipiac St Wallingford, CT as address of business. The physical building at the address that Migliore Furniture claims to be located at is a small building that for a company called Sterilamp.co. Sterilamp.co is one of the many sketchy businesses that Mr. Kataria has invested in, owns, or is associated with. My last written attempt to contact Migliore Furniture was by email on May 23rd requesting if I have not heard from Migliore Furniture, Mr. Kataria, any associates or staff of Migliore Furniture by end of day Tuesday May 24th, 2022 then I will proceed with calling my bank and any relevant organizations to report the company and associates as fraudulent. I am working with my bank to get my money back and in the process have realized that Migliore Furniture has saved my credit card information on file via Shopify.
