I received a cpap machine from nationwide medical,Medicare requires a patient must use it for 90 days before they would pay for it. I didnt use it so I didnt use it for the complete 90 days ....Therefore I returned it. The next visit to the doctor ,I explained to him what happened .After returning the first machine I then was sent another one! I called nationwide and explained I couldnt afford it because I cant use it for 90 days. They explained that it was paid for by my secondary insurance. I checked and saw it was being paid for,. Instead of using Blue cross of Illinois ,I received s letter from Blue cross Of California. Then after that, they would send supplies more than I needed. I then called them and told then not to send them unless I requested . They told me that medicare requires supplies to be sent every 90 days! I explained to only send the supplies when I requested them.They then constantly called me to send more supplies ...I explained I would let them know when I needed them.The doctor said I didnt need the machine any Longer. I called them and told them not to send anymore.They kept calling ,and when I didnt answer their calls any longer..They called from a local number. They would cjhange numbers so that I wouldnt know who it was .Finally I told them again I didnt need the machine nor supples ; He stated that if I didnt use it I probably would have a heart attack! He also said the machine was paid for( thru my insurance) and medicare pays for the supplies. I again told him I dont need any supplies ! The company still calls so I would block each number that they called from . He then caught me on another number asking since I own the machine now .I really need to use it ,etc. I told him the doctor adjusted it before he took me off of it so I would have to go back to the doctor. He explained that someone in the company can adjust it for me over the phone ...I replied no ..I dont want to do that . I realized earlier that they were probably trying To bleed the insurance company. This company really has harrassed me.I do believe now I m getting remails from an upaid bill ,but my name is not on it..So I thought they had the wrong e-mail address ,so I disregard it knowing I dont owe anybody. Tonight I got a call from a collection company ,...but I didnt answer the number.. This company is extremely unethical ! If needed I.m sure I can get payment info from my insurance. .. I have never dealt with anything like this company in my life.
