I received a phone call stating it was publishers clearing House asking if I am familiar with it. I said please take me off of your calling list in which the man with the foreign accent responded thank you God bless you there was a pause and then he called me a b**** and hung up. I called back the phone number and it was a woman with a foreign accent on an answering machine asking for people to leave a message. This is obviously some sort of scam.

A letter with the Publisher’s Clearing House logo on the page, came to our mailbox, along with a check for $18,346.98.The letter states we are the winner of $600,000.00. It states to call immediately and speak with the claims agent for method of payment. It says there is only 3-5days hold on the winnings. The enclosed check was to assist with out of pocket processing and handling fees. Once we spoke to the “agent,” we were directed to go to our bank & deposit the check then call him back for further instructions. We became suspicious when Mr. Robert Parker’s accent didn’t match up and called the official number to Publisher’s Clearing House to verify. We were informed that this was most likely a scam. That’s when we went online to the ScamPulse.com and found multiple complaints against this business. Please spread the word.

I received a letter through the mail saying it was from Publisher’s Clearing House in the 100 Million Dollars Super Cash Giveaway Promotion saying I had won $250,000.00 sponsored by Readers Digest, Mega Millions & Multi-State Lottery Association. A check was enclosed for $6,800.00 from Marriott International, Inc. Louisville TN. The check was made payable to me. Gave me a number to call 365-994-8772. I called that number numerous times but never got an answer. The check actually looked like a Real Check!

- Kendallville, IN, USA

Caller said I won the big prize and that I needed to go home immediately. He said they would be there in 45 minutes. He gave the reference number 775P. Told me to contact Robin Smith to confirm. It was a guy... he said I won 2.5 million and a new car.
