I was contacted by a Christopher Thom claiming to be a hiring agent from Refinitiv. I received this email very very shortly after registering for a few different employment search services. In the email I was told I was a fit for several types of positions of which I could choose at 30+ dollars an hour with paid training. I was interviewed text only using the Signal app. After supposedly passing the interview process I was emailed a picture of a check for $3,500 that was drawn under the business name The Greenery. I was asked to deposit this check in my account through mobile deposit and provide screenshot. I did this and my bank put a hold on the check and the next day I told him the check was on hold so he signed me up for iPhone 13 plus from AT&T my personal statistics. He went to AT&T site and filled out a credit application to finance the new phone and new account using my name social security birth date ID picture Etc. After two days the check bounced. I told Mr Thom that the check had bounced he said oh hold on a second and then sent me a new check, a paper one this time for $9,800 and told me to deposit in my ATM. One important detail I'd like to add to this and I'll show you some screenshots to go along with it. That is that he provided a lot of very detailed information about the company the position etc. So much information and details that are not usually found in most modern scams. Most scams I'm aware of are quick and dirty, certainly not detailed with a huge amount of fine accurate information and details.

I had the same interview and job offer extended to me! I spoke with a Dr. Roger Aaron, he conducted the interview on WhatsApp. Afterwards, I was offered the position as Customer Service Representative at a rate of $30.80/hr. The I was emailed a document to sign. After that I was sent by email a check for the amount of $3200.00 for tools needed for the work from home position. I was asked to print the check sign it and mobile deposit it into my account. Then asked to send a snapshot of it once it was signed.

Offering me a position with company Refinitiv through conducting online interview with no chat via webcam or over phone. Job description was work from home Admin Assistant. Seemed too good to be true with $30 hourly income but I proceeded. “Scott Thompson” proceeded to tell me they needed to send a check to my house address for money to buy “working tools” to be installed by a software vendor. Check was mailed to my house for $3200 from Ellen Morgan from Dolls Kills Warehouse, San Bernardino. Scott allowed me to call Norman, at (518)5523414 but it was a brief call and he sounded unsure. Scott refuses to talk via video without me being fully “employed”. He asked me to deposit the check and send snapshots of process. I did not deposit this check.
