i got a call and when i answered it was a man telling me the cops had raided a house in dallas and they found my social next to some drugs so i was being held accountable. He told me that there was a warrant out for my arrest and that they had been watching my family for over a week. These is the second call stating that they are the fraud department for the Social Security administration. Says he is Officer something and than ask for my social security number. They say they will take legal action but won't tell me for what unless I give my SS#, which I did not.

Today, as I was driving to Houston, TX I received a call from the number listed above requesting that I call back regarding my social security number being suspended. I called the number back and spoke with a foreign gentleman who identified himself as Officer Christian Davis. He went on to explain to me that my social security card was found in a dead woman’s car and it also was used to obtain various credit cards, open bank accounts, to obtain drugs and other fraudulent activity. He said my social security was in jeopardy and I might not get my social security check when I’m ready to retire. He needed to issue me another social security number. And he wanted me to go to my bank and withdraw all of my money and go to a office here in Texas and someone would give me a bank draft for my money and then on Thanksgiving day a police officer with the Fraud Dept. Would deliver my money in cash to me and I would need to give him the bank draft. I kept questioning the validity of everything because I told him that Social Security doesn’t call people. He kept insisting that this was a very unusual case and it required the Fraud Dept, along with the Dept of Justice and the FBI. When I told him, I would just wait for my bank to get in contact with me regarding my account, he hung up on me. I called the number back and a lady with the same foreign accent answered the phone and I told her that it’s very strange that at least an American didn’t answer the phone if this was really the Social Security Dept Fraud Dept. So I hung up on them. I requested a copy of the letter that he said was sent to them regarding my info. The letter has my Social Security number and home address on it. I’ve attached the letter for your review.

Started out stating that was with SS fraud department. Wondered if I had received info in the mail about my case. I told him no.

I asked his name and he said he was officer Mike Wilson. ( he was a foreigner)

Then he asked if I had mental health issues or handicapped.

I asked what did that have to do with Social security fraud?

He then asked if I was seeking psychiatric help. I told him I was perfectly healthy and I have never received psychiatric counseling.

Then he asked what my husband thought of my health issues.

I told him he was dead. He asked if I was the reason he was dead.

I then told him he was a very very sick man and he should get some help. He then hung up.

I called the social security office and not even three minutes later someone called my house number (social security only has my mobile number). The message stated that my social security number had been fraudulently used and that I needed to call the fraud department. When I did call the number (which was the same number the phone # showed up as on my phone) the woman answered the phone "social security fraud department, how can I help you?" I told them what had happened and she stated I would need to give her my name and SSN and she would direct me to the right department. I told her I wouldn't do this and she said some very rude and inappropriate things to me. I hung up the phone and called the Social Security Department and told them before calling the BBB.
