I got an email from a man named Sven Christensen. Apparently, his office found my resume on one of the job searching sites I did join. He first asked me to email back if I am interested in a work from home position. I emailed back with suspicion and ended up searching for anything about his travel company "Spot On Travel" from Denmark. I found a few websites, which were all in Danish, or nothing at all. When replying to my previous email about my interest, he emailed back with 3 different attachments. Two of them were information about the position, work hours, salary, and what I would be doing. The third attachment was the application. What made me very suspicious was the $3000 monthly salary for only 7-12 hours of work per week. Another suspicion was the large explanation for if I would need to handle "customer advance payments" and why the company couldn't just have customers wire transfer their payments directly to them. When I first read about the salary and work hours, I just knew this was a scam. The only thing that made me not think it was a scam originally was that they did not ask for an ID or SSN, just my name, address, phone number, etc. I haven't emailed them back yet, but I do plan to email the "application" soon with fake names and addresses.
