My Norton account was renewed and I didn’t realize it so I called Norton about the charges. Somehow I got sent to the TECHNOGRAD LLC. I thought they had something to do with Norton and were going to install the new subscription that the Norton rep said she would set me up with. They charged me 437.00. Next my modem quit working so I was without internet for 3 weeks before it got resolved and I had internet again. I thought my computer was a little slow so I called TECHNOGRAD. They said it had been attacked again and I had to pay all over again 500.00 more dollars because they had to do everything all over again but I would never be charged again and they would protect my computer for 15 years. Once again he said he was John Ross. They are good at what they do. I got scammed twice!

I had Norton protection that came with my pretty new computer, so when I got an email that the contract was expiring, I went online to order it.They said that it would be very easy to install it, but not for me.I looked below the Norton site listing for Techs who could help me download Norton. It took two hours for the guy ( he called himself Rick Martin) to finally say that computer was pretty messed, but he could restore it for $399.99. He also charged me $250.00 for putting extra protection for theIP address. What a sucker I was. The guy who did the supposedly did the restoring was called John Ross.

My computer froze, # for Microsoft tech support came up. I called, they asked for 199. Then went on my computer and I could see them working, for 1 hour, or so. After I realized it was scam, shut down and called ACTUAL MICROSOFT. THEY SEEMED LEGITIMATE!!!! GOT SCAMMED HARD

A warning message appeared on the computer indicating the computer was infected with a virus. This was followed by a voice saying to call the scam number for technical sipport. When the number was called the company wanted $217 to "repair" the computer. The scammer gained access to the computer and disabled wifi and anitvirus software. Then they ran windows defender (a free MS program). This scam was perpetated on an elderly woman. After learning of the issue, her childred advised her to immediately cancel her credit card and freeze her bank accounts. We are now in the process of changing all her passwords.
