fake checks from emery borrallo. she needs to be ashamed of herself. preying on people through this difficult time in our economy.there is help for this and others like her. she will soon be caught.

So I started to work with her but nothing happened yet to me I’m scared that imma have to pay this money back and the checks was coming back to back I’m only 20 so this sound good but it’s bull[censored] I can’t wait to they put her [censored] in jail cuz I really thorough I was going to make a career out of this I didn’t put it in my bank account but I did cash one I wonder what’s going to happen if they body knows how to help me please do I have kids that I have to provide for I can’t be owning money ! Report her !

DO NOT GET INVOLVED!

Emery Borrallo seems very nice but the whole cashing (fake) checks to then send the money (usually to a Gregor Boska in New York) is a huge scam. It will leave your account in negative. Don't do it, I learned from my mistakes.

I got an email from Emery Barrolla about a logistics job and training. She sent me an A3 freight payment check to cash and sent to a shipping agent and I did. I checked with the bank to see if it was cleared for cash and the manager said it was good to go cashed it the next day. A week later I get 3 more checks not seeing any problem with the first check I once again deposited and cashed the next day and sent it off. 4 days later they came back and a week later the first came back now I owe more then I’m worth. I filed with the post office for mail fraud and the FTC for check fraud. Anyone else have a problem call the FTC and site #118909507 complaint . This is one of 3 I got . Anyone else call the FTC 877-382-4357 and use my number to add a complaint . If they get enough of them they might get our money back or put them in jail.

same exact situation, except I did fall for it and now i'm out 1959.81-plus a 12.00 return check fee-DO NOT "WORK" FOR THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT THE REAL COMPANY AND THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM-DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION AND DO NOT CASH OR DEPOSIT ANY CHECKS!SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM-IF YOU SEE THEM HIRING-TURN AROUND AND RUN THE OTHER WAY-SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!

I wish these reports were out when I starting researching this company. I’m so mad at myself for not following my gut. I too mentioned right away to the company that I wanted additional information because I didn’t feel like the job was legit. I didn’t remember applying for any logistics job, but was desperate because I’ve been out of a job/income since 3/14/20. The information was provided. I too mentioned that it seemed unprofessional and that I was going to reach out to my accountant to ask if this was something I could do. I never agreed. But she had the check sent to me anyway. Not she is harassing me and threatening me. Good thing I’m keeping all the documentation and have a friend who is a lawyer. I think this person or these people are absolutely disgusting and I hope bad karma comes their way sooner than later because they deserve it. Preying on people who are desperate to earn money right now. It’s down right fowl and I hope one day their actions leads them behind bars. They are hiding behind the people they try to “hire” to get money. Because if there is anything fraudulent about those checks you are responsible. The bank will hold you accountable for everything and you will have to payback monies lost and they can close your account. I called local police and spoke to my bank. They are cowards because they are using other people to do their dirty work knowing that the people who cash the checks are the ones who will get in trouble, not Emery Borrallo. I don’t know if it’s just her or others. I’ve only spoken to Emery. I feel stupid for letting it get as far as it did because I’ve worked for distribution companies before and I know they would never handle their business like that. I actually mentioned that to her. I will say that she is good with the initial meet and greet. But she needs to understand that we know HR laws and depending on the state if you want to quit you can quit without any notice. I tried to quit and she came at me with a threat about penalties and having to pay for the charges that the company was going to receive. I’ve already dragged this out like two weeks, so if it was so important you would have gotten someone else. I offered to mail the check to her and asked for her address. She told me there wasn’t anything she could do with a check in my name in which I replied saying I know and that I’m trying to return the check so you don’t think I’m trying to keep it. That’s when she told me to cash it. Then she spoke to me like a child saying I have three options. 2 out of the 3 is me cashing the check, taking my commission and we’ll forget this every happened. Of course the third is a lawsuit against me. Which can’t be done. I hope this forum helps others from even getting anywhere with this chic! Please STAY AWAY FROM TRANSPORTES MIAJADAS and EMERY BORRALLO!
The emails have no logo on them which all legit companies have imbedded into their emails and have the signature built in to every email with name, title, contact info, website, etc. her signature isn’t the same every time.
Please tell your story so no one else has to go through this!

I had the same thing happen to me I thought it was a scan too sending me checks. Please let me know what to do I'm waitt on checks to be sent in the mail by Friday May 8,2029

Definitely a fake check scam.

Ignore (or troll) this person, they are not a friend.

Asking me to cash fake checks

". As soon as you get the payment by check you should cash it. It is worth noting that based on our practice, Walmart or Check Cashing Desks do not always cash personal checks and out of state checks, and most importantly these institutions have been manifoldly accused of misuse of personal banking information the access to which they are given when they cash checks. Which is why we recommend you to process the payment at your or customer's bank. You can also deposit the check if your bank does not allow you to cash the payment in 1 business day, this procedure usually takes up to 48 hours.
2. You take your commission as per terms of your salary-plus-commission remuneration system."

I am dealing with this and she told me that she will have her lawyer contact me on Monday..I told her I didn't feel this was legit and dont mail me anything. Well she did and now she is throwing all this fake stuff and said I signed something and I didn't. I told her give me the lawyer contact information she didn't. I told her after the 2nd email that this is a scam and she text me saying first of all.. who does that.

Any luck? Same crap I just haven't told her I'm not a [censored].

Hello there! It seems very strange, but I was employed by this Spanish firm and... the job goes well. I don't understand why this appears like a scam for you. The only concerns I had was a paycheck once a month, but last Thursday I got it. The training process seems pretty straight forward and Mrs. Borrallo is a good manager. I think, all of you weren't approved for this job, that's why you wrote those dirty words. Stay positive and one time you would find a better opportunity.

lying piece of shi#

I actually just started working with them but haven't received a payment but i am kinda sceptical especially with the way times are now. I just need real proof this job is legit.

Cashing checks for other people isn't logistics.

But you know what, I'm taking this to the FTC (thats where these reports belong btw) and ill let "Mrs. Borallo" deal with the federal authorities over it, since she's so legitimate.

The 3 or 4 people commenting who apparently “work” at this “company” are so obviously written by the same person. Absolutely insulting my intelligence?

I totally agree with you. I have been working with this company for more than four months and everything is pretty good. I get paid every month, on time. I think it's a good opportunity, especially in this difficult time.

I have had a similar experience, and been emailed from three people, each on a separate email server--that is what tipped me off. When I asked that they prove their authenticity, as I have received several job scams recently, the person who has been most persistent in emailing me, even though I had not replied in a few days, an "Emery Borrallo," asked, "Can you send me any proofs of your accusations, because you question the reputation of our company, and we do not want to give the course for legal proceedings? Can I ask you, what facts or arguments you use when you're trying to blame our company in illegal activities?"

Lol.

I asked for proof and phone numbers I can call. In less than 4 minutes I got this reply: “You can verify us by checking our CIF F10015360 on the online information services for authenticity verification of international companies: https://www.einforma.com/ or http://www.infocif.es/ Our company is registered legally, everything is legal. Can you send me any proofs of your accusations, because you question the reputation of our company, and we do not want to give the course for legal proceedings? Can I ask you, what facts or arguments you use when you're trying to blame our company in illegal activities?” Seems like a copy paste response if we got the same answer and he sent it to so quick.

Oh my gosh! This is happening to me right now! I am so freaked out! I gave them my address? Did you guys? And has anything came of it?

How do you expect not a native speakers to know English perfectly well, Brenda? I'm sure you would not be able to make up even a few phrases in French, for example. So better mind your own mistakes.

Personally, I've been working with them for over 3 months now and everything is fine. You guys need to verify info before you even start accusing someone of something, it's easy to put the blame on the company before even knowing for sure.

Yes, there are many scams these days, but Transportes Miajadas S.c.l. is legal. IMHO

The people pretending to be working for this company have the exact strange poor grammar as Ms. Emery Borrallo.. that should be enough of a red flag in it of itself.. For example, the person responding below claiming to be Cheryl Meeks sounds like theyre trying their best to sound conversational with their English, but anyone who lives in Canada or the States automatically know people here DO NOT SPEAK THIS WAY

I have already completed studying in this company. They need your address because you will work from home and some employment documents will be sent to you. Isn't it obvious? This company is registered legally, I checked it . I called the main office before applying, they confirmed all information that I received on e-mail. I do not see any red flags. This company offer really good salary. I do not see any red flags.

I did give them my address. I called to the company in Spain, they told me there were three people calling asking if they were hiring people in the US. They made a complaint to the US authorities

- Elgin, SC, USA

The lady actually made it feel like a real job she sent a job description the pay and benefits. She didn’t ask for my social security just my address and name. The job discription was a shipping assistant she said that they were working on getting their company to North Carolina and Washington and that they were trying to expand and I will help them with closing deals and that they had investors from the U.S. I told her that I did not want the job and that I thought I was a scam once she said I will receive checks and have to cash them. What job sends checks to someone’s house ???? But she got very upset because I was accusing the company to be a scam. The funny part is that she said I had to give a three weeks notice. This scammer really use good tactics to make me think the job was legit it was a process I’m jus happy that I did not give my SSN. I think this job got my email through Indeed l.
