I was searching for a Great Dane online when I came across a “Vals Great Dane Pups” as soon as I messaged him I received a message back and they seemed very consistent. Asked for my info more then twice which I did give not knowing they were a scam. It was when they sent me their zellepay and the name wasn’t the same name as the “breeders” from the site.

None of this info besides the dogs name was consistent with the info on their site. I looked on Facebook and saw that they have scammed people before. Thankfully I did my full research before giving them my money

They supposedly are a great Dane breeder, but as soon as I sent an email asking a question about a puppy, they immediately responded by sending me text messages wanting my full name and address and requesting me to send them $800 by vellepay, and they wanted the money asap "so they could get the puppy to the airport right away." Then when I said I cant send money right now, they responded with, "why not, u not love puppy anymore?"

My wife and I were searching for a Great Dane breeder. Val’s popped up on our search and we immediately saw a puppy that we liked and emailed to inquire about the puppy. The “breeder” responded within 15 min saying that the dog was available and asked us to Zelle payment of $800 and the the dog would be crated and flown to Los Angeles. The breeder then sent us a text asking for $1200 to rent the crate that the dog would be shipped in and said the rental fee would be refunded upon delivery. Once we said that we did not have the funds available for transportation he said that he would pay half of it and asked us to pay the other half. We then asked for a refund of our $800 and he said he couldn’t do that because he already used the money. Then he stopped answering his phone.

It wasn’t actually myself that got scammed it was a friend. She was looking for a great Dane and she found this website that said they breed and sell them. Her first initial point of contact was an email address which is the only contact information they provide on the website and they followed up her email with a text. They have the puppies listed for $600 but they asked her to send him $200 so she could receive all the paperwork on the puppies call, and unfortunately she did send it. They are still telling her they will send the paperwork. I actually called the number and it is strictly a texting Number you cannot talk to a real person and they text me back the next day asking if I still wanted a puppy that I did not even ask about. I called them out on being a scammer and they did not respond very professionally at all.
