I recieved a text message stating that because I was a Loyality customer to Verizon they had paid my bill and If I paid shipping of 7.95 I would receive a genz watch. Now I called to verify if this was true and she said yes. So the watch was delivered and it was a horrible product and I received my credit card statement and it showed a purchase of 99.94 with this number 8556771739, so I called them and told them I wasn't to be charged for this watch and she said that it was only a trial and I have to pay for it, I told her that is not what I was told and that she scammed me at that point she hung up on me. I then contacted Verizon and they had no record of this and I surely got scammed. Also contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. They mentioned they were a 3rd party in flordia for Verizon.

I do not have the text message because I have been with Verizon for 30 years, When I received the watch I figured the deal was complete.

The scammer texted me (a verizon customer) saying that because we payed our November bill (for verizon) I won airpods but I had to answer questions.

I got a robo call supposedly from Verizon. The message asked for the last 4 numbers of my social. I gave the last four numbers, but no one was available. When I tried to call back later, the call wouldn't go through.

Caller claimed to be from Verizon. They were asking the consumer if they ordered a new phone. Consumer called Verizon to check this out. Verizon told the consumer that the Verizon number had been spoofed.

They said my account was suspended for verification to reactivate your account press 1 to speak to a representative press2 which I didn’t, I called Verizon and ask them about it and they said it was a scam. The telephone numbers were very similar Verizon Wireless is 800-922-0204 and the scammers is 800-922-0206

Was informed Verizon account was suspended due to verification of identity. Asked for the last four numbers of account holder social.

Then he said to confirm the pay back I need to confirm my info and he started ask what is your zip code? I said I will call Verizon myself to see what in going on. He tried again and said we don't have time and I need to speed up otherwise I will not be included. I refuse to give him my info and he hang on. I called Verizon immediately and they said all of these is false.

Recorded call said my Verizon account was suspended. I chose the "talk to a representative" option to tell them off. Instead of a person, I got another recording saying "For security reasons, please enter your identification PIN." That's when I hung up.

Iphone X. Convince some one in need of making some quick money to sign several contracts with promise to pay the remaining balance and never do. Leaving the victim stuck with a 2000 bill. If any one comes about offering $100 to go and purchase on your credit a iPhone x or any phone. Report them to the authorities right away! They are scammers. I didn't realize i was being scammed until the third man involved came into best buy too wanting a 3rd phone off my credit lucky for me the computers were slow at processing causing the third man to be frustrated enough to leave it be. it's only $2000 that I can easily pay off quickly. But buyer be ware!!!

On 6/1/2018 I started recieving calls from an angry man claiming my phone number made repeated calls to him over the course of two days. I had to change my number

- Chetek, WI, USA

This number calls me numerous times a day asking for a J.Hawk. I have never heard of this person or business but they ask for account information to delete my number.

I received multiple calls from a Louisville phone number over two days. I answered and the person quickly stated hey were calling f on Verizon, I have a balance of $180 some and change and “can you pay that now”. I quickly respond with a stern “no”. The woman hesitated and then said “when do you think you can pay that?” I said “when the bill comes in the mail”. I had r gently cancelled my service and spoke with someone recently that said my final bill would come in the mail even though I had always paid online before. The woman told me I didn’t receive bills in the mail and asked if I usually paid online. I said “yes I do and I want to speak with your supervisor” she put me in hold for several minutes, came back on and said she was getting someone, then I held for several more minutes before hanging up.

- Spokane, WA, USA

I have received a cancellation notice via postal mail and a past due amount of $64.78 due to Verizon. I have called them and advised I have never been a Verizon customer. I have completed a fraud report with the Spokane Police Department and currently am receiving daily phone calls from Verizon to call 1-800-753-8644 and to pay my over due bill. Please assist with discontinuing this harassment. Thank You.
