VNYL Reports & Reviews (18)

My daughter recently signed up for a subscription 2/3/22, $39.99 plus shipping costs. She called the customer service number listed twice to cancel, the recording was a Pakistani man stating that they were busy due to the holiday season. The holiday season was weeks ago! She tried emailing them to cancel and received an automated response. She had decided to cancel due to the terrible reviews. Many people are reporting they never received their records and even after cancelling are still being charged on their credit card. My advice is do not buy on this site and if you do, call your bank and cancel your credit card or they will continue to charge you continuously.

I signed up and ordered a record in may of 2020. After receiving the record. I tried to cancel online only to find you had to call. I spoke with someone who assured me as long as i didn't select any records to get, I wouldn't be charged. 16 months later I come to find out they have been continuously charging me monthly even after I called and have not ordered a record 1x. This seems to be by design as they dont send invoices or any other notifications. They just hope you dont notice so they can continue to bill for absolutely nothing. They owe me $239.84

I ordered a record and signed up back in May of 2020. After receiving the first record it didn't seem worth it to me to pay a membership fee on top of purchasing the records. I called and was assured as long as I didn't purchase a record I wouldn't be charged. They have been charging me 14.99 a month every month since. I just discovered this. It seems this was by design. Get people on the plan and hope they forget about it so they can continue to bill the monthly. They did this even after I called! They send no invoices or emails. They actively deceive and defraud customers.

I subscribed to this product on June 30th for a monthly subscription. I was charged twice for June and July and have never received any records (product). They basically lure you in with great ads on instagram and a subscription service that sounds too good to be true. Then never deliver a product. I cancelled the subscription with the hopes I would at least get the two records I've paid for. Hopefully they don't charge me again either like others I've read about after cancelling. Just a scam. They should be looked into for fraud.

Advertising as a vinyl subscription service. Have waited a month for first month subscription only to have our subscription cancelled by the company. Called them and someone named Joe, stated that they cancelled it and we will not be getting a refund. When asked if we would at least be receiving what we paid for, Joe stated they had lots of orders, and ours was probably "at the warehouse".

Today I learned that Vnyl has been charging a credit card for a membership I cancelled 8-months ago. I had a membership with them for several months before cancelling the service in early August 2020. I have not received any product, not have I received any sort of email that my card would be charged. I'm glad I decided to check the card.

August 31 - $39.99

October 1 - $39.99

October 31 - $39.99

December 1 - $39.99

January 14 - $39.99

Feb 1 - $39.99

March 1 - $39.99

April 7 - $39.99

I double checked my Vnyl account to make sure someone had not reactivated it and rerouted shipping to their address. My account confirms that it is cancelled and no new orders were placed.

I have contacted Vnyl for a refund and await a response.

I subscribed to VNYL a few months back in December. Every month I pay $14.99 for this service and this is the 5th month so I believe I should have 5 vinyls by now. However, I've only received two. I received my first month and this most recent month. I've seen other people on here complain about the same issue and some people have it even worse than me and have lost many multiple months worth of vinyl. The company replies back and just says it's because users don't select their "vibe" that they'd like to receive. This seems like such a scam. You're charging me for something but don't send it? They should not charge you until after you "select your vibe" if that's the case.

The only way that you can even cancel is by calling their customer service line, but it's on west coast hours only and I've called several times over the last month and no one has responded back to me. At this point I'm calling my bank and reporting fraud to get the company blocked from charging me anymore.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE. You will get charged month after month and never receive anything in the mail. Not to mention it is impossible to get anyone on the toll free number. You have to leave a voicemail and of course they never get back to you. You cant cancel or pause on website or through the phone. This is the biggest scam and needs to be shut down.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMPANIES GIMMICKS. They are a scam!

This company continues to advertise for false products, using those with high follower counts to promote a product that is not real, much like Fyre Fest. I made a purchase for a friend for her graduation in May/June 2020, she then went on to fill out the online form for her music taste and complete her profile, it has been 3 1/2 months with no records being made available and NO RESPONSE from VNYL. Contact was attempted to be made via phone, instagram, twitter, facebook and email. Where they have only automated responses and never a real person. This company continue to take from those who have purchased from them, and has been reported several times, they shut off their comments on all social media so no one can be warned to not buy from them. They even continued to charge my friends account without any reason, and never sent any follow up confirmation and now claim to not do refunds. Do not fall for their appeal, they are pathetic.

Signed up for their subscription service and they have been deducting payments but not delivering products.

They will not communicate via email, phone, twitter or Facebook.

I have made several attempts via email and phone to cancel my membership and no one calls back. I will be contacting my bank next.

DO NOT sign up for a membership on VNYL.Org. They offer a monthly membership to have records sent every month. They sent the first month, but not the subsequent months even though they kept charging the $30 monthly fee. Attempts to cancel the monthly charges were unsuccessful. Attempted to cancel via the website, phone, and also the online chat feature. Nobody would return my phone calls and the online chat went unanswered. I finally had to seek a resolution via my bank.

Advertise all over about their monthly subscription service for random vnyl so I tried it. Spent money on 3 curated vnyl then I did some research which I should have done prior and multiple people were not getting their records while they are still taking their money. The only way to cancel your subscription is through a phonecall which they don't ever answer. They won't reply to any criticism but will continue to advertise and reply to comments and messages that could lead them to more money. Extremely disappointed because this business idea is wonderful too bad they had to ruin it and scam people

Company took money for subscription that was never sent out. Company did not respond to any inquiries through email or social media.

I recently started building a record collection, and ads kept popping up for Vnyl: a vinyl subscription service. They have a large presence on social media, and I saw several people positively review their product. I signed up for a 3 month subscription, including 9 records for $99. I was successfully billed, and then the credit appeared on my account as a "gift card" with no possible option to redeem it. I emailed and called customer service multiple times, and never received a response. I was never sent shipping updates or order updates, only a confirmation that I was charged $99. This company attracts people on social media, completing orders to influential people to receive positive feedback and build their reputation, but the majority of their orders are never fulfilled. I was a bit cautious to complete the order, as the website did not seem completely legit, but I saw reviews from others and thought it would be alright.

My soon to be wife was excited about the new record player I just bought her. In her excitement she immediately ordered new records from amazon, as well as from: VNYL.COM. The records from amazon came in without any issue, the ones from VNYL are not even shipped.

Under the guise of a "subscription" they ask you to pay $40 a month for 3 records a month. Seems like a no-brainer good deal. But what they do not say is that they will never send you those records. That if you try and cancel the subscription, the e-mail provided: VNYL.ORG is not a real e-mail. Your bank cannot STOP any payments because they are not charging you on a "recurring" basis. That any attempt by you to pause or terminate will go unheard. Why? Simply, because they want to keep your money and give you nothing. Heed my warning about this company.

They know what they are doing. By making it a subscription that does not charge you on a recurring basis, they are more likely to get more than one payment out of you. By trying to terminate via an e-mail address that is not even valid forces you to terminate over the phone. A number they do not even answer. This company should be prosecuted for: Fraud, DTPA, Breach of Contract, and many more claims. Be safe out there.
