I received a text asking if I’m interested in a remote job that I applied for. Then I was asked to open a Skype account to chat with the examiner. He came on with the name of Joshua Donald. He set an appointment for interview with relevant in depth questions. Next day he said I had an excellent performance and will be given the job. He stated I will be sent an employment letter in 3 days. He told me the company will send me an equipment for work after I meet with the manager. He says the company is not in my area so I will work from home. It will take them 3 months to open an office near me and I can continue to work ftom home even they open their office. Next day he said it looks like I’m ready so he will send me a check to purchase the equipment faster by myself. He asked if I have a bank account and the name of my bank. The first check my bank said I cannot scan ur but needs to present it. He said he will speak to the manager and then sent me a second check. I noticed none of this checks bear the name of the company. Then he told me to send my demographics to put on their website. I told him it’s illegal to ask without the letter if acceptance yet. He said it was legal. The bank decided to of the check for 5 working days and he wanted to know why. He then said the money is to buy apple lap top Gir my work. He asked if I have Zelle and if I have enough money in my account to cover the check. He wanted me to Zelle the money to their merchant fir Apple laptop. I asked Gir the merchant’s information which he refused to give. He said they work with Best Buy. At this point I told him I don’t send money to unknown individual. I can loan the company my Apple laptop or table top, or even. Enter the company can deal directly with the merchant to provide they ppl asap. At this point he was angry and said this is for your work. So I told him I will prefer to wait till the company is fully ready. My bank eventually retuned the check unpaid. He requested scan ftom my account twice, but I made sure my account number did not show. I asked several times about why the check was returned and he is still checking with his manager. Unfortunately I filled out tge w4 with my ss#, DL copy and addresses . I don’t know what they can use my information

They sent me a text about reviewing my application online and if I’m interested in a remote pharmacist job and I replied yes why not. Then they said they will interview me through Skype if u can open an account. I did. The examiner was Joshua Donald. He asked legitimate questions relevant to my field which I provided answers. I thought well because of available online systems they can. They sent me an acceptance letter with responsibilities, requirements, salaries and start date. Then they said they have to buy the equipment but it seems that I am ready and cannot wait for the company. So they were going to send me a check which I can scan-deposit into my account. My bank said I cannot scan that type of check. Then they sent me another one which my bank took and put on hold. In the meantime the two checks did not carry the name of the company so I was skeptical. Then he told me to fill out a form with my age for their website. I let him know that it was illegal since at that time I did not have an acceptance letter yet. Unfortunately after the acceptance letter they sent me w4 form and others to fill out with my addresses and ss number which I did. By then he said do you have enough money to cover the check so you can get your equipment fast? Although I thought it was too bold, I responded. Then he said I am going to give you a number to send money by Zelle to our merchant for apple laptop. I requested the merchant’s Information which he refused to give me. But said the merchant works with Best Buy. So at this point I let him know I don’t send money to unknown individuals . I will rather wait or I can give the company the opportunity to use my apple laptop or table top, or even have the company work directly with the merchant. He sounded angry and said you will not get an equipment for your job? I said I will wait for however long it takes the company to provide the equipment. Then my bank returned the check unpaid. Twice he asked why is the bank holding the check, and to send a clip from my account. I made sure my account number did not show. I had so many questions for him after that. He was referring to his manager. I believe this should be reported to authorities to avoid people falling into the scam. I have copies of tge check and Joshua as it appears on Skype.
Thanks

After getting a text message from Ms. Amanda Hawbaker from VYTALIZE HEALTH (where I applied for a job several months ago), I agreed to be interviewed via Skype by a hiring manager named Frank Elliot, who interviewed me (no phone, only by Skype chat) on 01/03/2023, offered the job on 01/04/2023, then sent a check ($2475.34) via email to be printed and deposited via mobile app to my bank account (one bank rejected the check, he asked me to try another bank, it was accepted), he waited online till I do so, then asked me to wire transfer (he first asked if I had Venmo or Cashapp) the money to Michael Bishop's (vendor's) account in Piermont Bank, NY, which I did $2345 (transfer fee $30), he asked me to keep $100, then he asked me come online on 01/05/2023, I did, then again on 01/06/2023, I did and this time he asked to deposit another check for $3600.45 the same manner, I did, and had to wire $3570.45 (transfer fee $30); these funds, Frank said, will be used by the vendor in NY (Michael Bishop) so he will send some verified work equipment (laptop, telephone, printer, etc.) to my home address so I can work from home for this company.

In the evening of 01/06/2023, I got a message - "Return Deposit Item(s) Advic" - from by bank, the first check of $2475.34 is rejected due to originator's account being frozen or blocked. I panicked, texted and emailed Frank, he did not reply until next morning via Skype, I asked him to call on my cell phone, he never did. I also looked online and found other victims of this scam group. The other individuals in this scam group who emailed me were: Jessica Redmond, email: [email protected]; and Carlos Graham, email: [email protected]

I have been searching for a remote job online through indeed and other job websites that are well known. Someone claiming to be from Vytalize Health texted me for a job I don’t remember applying for. She said this “ Good afternoon ——-, Hope you’re doing good, I'm Ms. Elizabeth Romine from (VYTALIZE HEALTH) Company. Your resume was reviewed by Our recruitment team of the company for the Remote Pharmacist Position. I would like to know if you are still interested in the job position ?” I replied yes. And she proceeded to tell me “Great. I would be linking you up with an available H.R Personnel now so you can schedule an online interview with him.

The interview would be done through the Company's hiring portal via Microsoft Teams

I believe you do have an existing Microsoft Teams account for use now ?” The second person claiming to do an interview through Microsoft teams has this email address [email protected] . He was available to chat right away and wanted to do the interview asap. I thought it was weird because it was in a chat. Never heard of a company that does chat interviews. he was asking me questions that was related to the job at hand and was not suspicious at all until he asked me if I preferred to be paid weekly or biweekly basis. And then asked what bank do I conduct business with because he wanted to see if the company was contracted with the bank. That’s when I was suspicious. I asked at the end of the interview when will I hear back and he didn’t really answer that question which was also very fishy. He said to meet in the same chat the next day. However, after the interview I tried calling that phone number they texted me on and no response. And I searched on google and found out other people had the same exact stories as mine, except that they chatted the next day with these scammers and got fraudulent checks from them.

They reached out via text about an interview which they held on Microsoft teams. They email a check for supplies they say. I ask for proof. They make an excuse. They ask questions that are pertinent to the position to which I am looking for so they seemed legit. I checked LinkedIn and they aren’t on there.
Seems like someone who is contacting me would have a way to reach them.

The same way with emails, I check for typos and grammatical errors to see if it is indeed a scam. This person reached out via text. No employer would do that. Therefore I automatically became suspicious. Then proceeded to still try to convince me to proceed and give them information. For sure they were blocked. I don’t play those type of games.

I was reached from a recruiter claiming that she represents this company VYTALIZE HEALTH to setup an online interview for a Data Analyst position through a Microsoft Teams link. We went to the process and they offer me the job with an amazing annual salary base plus other benefits, and tell me the exact same history about send me a check to get deposit into my bank account to get all the job supplies. All this seems so real because even they send me an offer letter,W4 to fill and send it back. I filled the offer letter, and for the W4 but hopefully I missed to fill one the most important piece which is the SSN number. Also, they requested me to open a new cellphone line with VERIZON and provide all the info to them (Username, Pw, security questions and answers) then I realized that in fact this is a totally EMPLOYMENT SCAM.
Hopefully, I haven't received the check and I don't have my bank accounts compromised so far.

I have been searching for nursing assistant positions through Glassdoor so I receive emails of job offers. Someone claiming to be with this company and using their web page tells me that they have an opening. They do an interview over email for this remote NAC position, offer me the job, and tell me that they would send a check to pay for the supplies needed to start my training. They tell me to deposit the check using mobile deposit and then I would have to make a payment through Zelle to the “vendor” to get my supplies. My bank almost immediately puts a hold on my account and tells me to contact them. They tell me the check was fraudulent. I email, text, and call the guy, Uhriaha Aguilar, and of course no response and phone no longer works. The website with all the 5-star reviews were very believable. All fake!

There is an active scam where people are using a spoofed email, website and stolen brand assets to make it seem like they are representing the real company, Vytalize Health. (vytalizehealth[dot]com).
