Walnut Court Capital Spoof Reports & Reviews (1)

I was on LinkedIn and I got a job offer from an individual named Jay who told me to send an email to [email protected] and the job description and details would be given to me. I emailed them with a timely response expecting a job offer in the Data Entry field. However, what I got was instead was a very suspicious message that was obviously a scam. This person decided to email me back saying that they will like to include me in their company and they will give me a job but first I need to pass the trial. They mentioned that they fly around the world a lot and they would be busy and that I would be handling the work for them. They said that they will issue a company check and all I had to do was run some errands. They explained that I will not be paying for these products with my own money.

Clearly, this is a fraud because this man asked me to do something that is not job-related. The check would've obviously bounced and I would be using my own money to pay for the products that I would send to them. This is a common scam script and it was found through the reddit page here. https://www.reddit.com/r/personalfinance/comments/afyz7m/i_applied_for_a_job_for...
