called and called and scared me to death thinking my ip address was being used in other countries, possibly in illegal activities, then had me give them access to my computer and showed me a list of 30 plus foreign ip accessors. offered to clean up my computer and make it fast again.

plus would give me the same service for a full year for the same price. they had me scan the back and fromt of a check and I paid them 499.00$, but they clean them up and they come back, now they are trying to say i have a virus and that is why these people can access my computer ip address. Now they want additional funds to kill the virus, like 299.00, which i did not pay. I have told them over and over again that i have an antivirus with Norton and it says they are better protection. Even wanted to remove my nortion antiviurs from my computer! they call me every day and want me to sit down at the computer so they can log in and fix these warning s they are being sent about people accessing my computers ip address. they are rude and border on threatening, especially when i refused to remove the norton. Very bossy, telling me not to use norton as it is no protection. i don'[t know if they are a scam or not, but they sure are not easy to do business with and i don't know who to go to to find out the truth about what is actually occurring within my computer. they down loated the following files on my computer as well ; CC Cleaner, batch file, Supremo, and the exaple below. please investigate and tell me wheter they are legitimate or not!

I received two calls from this person last week and again on Monday (Nov 6th) of this week. The person identified himself (Brian Miller) as a Windows tech and that his company had received numerous 'error' messages from my computer. He said he would fix it. At the end of the 'repair' he said that I had an option to pay for a 6 month package or a 1 year package for his service. I initially became suspicious when I saw his name as 'Brian Miller' but he had a very distinct "Indian" accent. I questioned him on this. He said he was from India but now lives in Florida. When I entered my credit card info (he was insistent that I buy the one year package - I refused) I immediately got a text from my bank - PNC - with a security alert. I called my bank and was told that the account was in the UK. "Brian" assured me that there was nothing wrong and that I had to call my bank to OK the transaction. I immediately shut down my computer and cancelled my credit card per my bank's advice. I now receive numerous phone messages from "Brian" asking me to simply send him 'cash' for his services. It sounds very suspicious to me.

Company calls and tries to earn trust by claiming that your computer was compromised, claiming it crashes and restarts.

Then directs you to logs to show you how many errors your machine has (and each machine has plenty of these).

Then they go to try and help you to resolve this issue - I stopped the call there and reported it to my local AG.

Any one who calls you and claims they have access to your machine logs is lying.

Even Microsoft cannot link a log to a specific person.

From here they have two path - charge you money for helping you to fix it, or asking you to install malware.

I didn't go that far, asking you not to as well...

I wasted as much time of them as I could, and recommend all of you to do the same.

my fiancé contacted this company thinking they were a legit business to protect our computer ,he was charged $241.99 for services rendered adding spyware to protect our system. shortly thereafter there were multiple issues with the system which eventually killed it. he stopped payment on the credit card used. prior to that tried to rectify/cancel the product & called the above #'s listed after they called & left messages to call back, none of the #'s were active #'s got recording # not in service( all calls showed up as private # on the caller id)). all calls were placed on a Friday or Saturday when no one is usually home. 1 call from the 855 # I picked up & they immediately hung up, today 7/16/16 I picked up the phone, Mario answered & the conversation got threating on both ends..... actually called the # back that was given & it was answered. also looked at a website & saw all of the #'s are listed under a scam, so decided to report it, after being harrassed

They called and said he was from *** and if I didn't pay them to fix my computer it would shut down in 90 minutes. They said they needed $233.68 to fix my computer.. They were from Windows PC Services. They gave me 2 numbers to call. 800-987-1396- or 646-588-1663 They both answered *** so that is why I gave them a check number and was going to do it. My friend happened to call and he said pull the plug it is a fraud. so I pulled the plug and contacted Wells Fargo bank and put a stop payment and closed the checking account before they got any money out of me. They called all morning long, with phone numbers and restricted phone number on my caller I.D. Phone. M***  told me to tell them your going to call the police on them. SO beware of this scam.
