A man speaking broken English called and asked for a person with my first initial and last name, saying he was a process server and asked if I would be at home in 60 minutes to receive documents for a case against me, but that in the meantime while I waited he would give me a telephone number and a case number and I could call to speak with someone about "my" case. Recognizing the call as a scam, I told this man that I have excellent credit and I therefore would not go along with his scam for money, but if he still wanted to serve me I would be at the local police headquarters waiting for him to arrive. He immediately hung up on me.
