I received two text messages asking if I was available the next day. Because I work from home and take clients by appointment, I thought it could potentially be a customer. I texted back and asked who they were and what they were texting about. I received a reply that they had me at a charity gala last weekend and did I not remember them. They also forwarded a photo of an Asian woman (not a provocative one). I texted back that they definitely had the wrong number and requested they not contact me again. They immediately responded with "OMG Evelyn, really?" My name isn't Evelyn, and I never attended a charity event so I knew this had to be leading to some sort of scam. I blocked the number.
