I received a call that came up on my caller ID as TD BANK. I answered the call, and the person stated they were calling to verify some Zelle transactions for $1200 that had made them suspicious. I knew right then that it was a scam and told them that this is fake and I am hanging up to call TD BANK and verify this call. They tried to argue with me, so I hung up and called TD BANK to report the fraud.

They claimed that I had an overdraft on my TD Bank account. In order to be able to access my account, they said that I had to pay $1700. They also asked for my Taxpayer ID.
