Last Friday, Oct. 18th, I got a voicemail from the Spectrum imposter stating that I was eligible for a discount on my billing. When I called the number, there was a promotion through Target. I had to pay 6 months of my bill in order to get the discount. It would go from $136 to $88.00. So they told me to go to Target to buy 2 - $240 gift cards and give them a call back to give them the number on the back of the cards.

Yesterday I got a text message from 888-498-2150 that was an alert that there was a problem with my payment. They told me to get 2 new gift cards and call them. I called Spectrum from my bill statement and they said it was a scam. This is when I realized it was a scam.
