Got a call from this number saying my mother was a "person of interest" and that I was listed as a contact number for her, then that due to federal law they could not disclose any information. They said "if you know this person, press 1", I did and a person answered so I hung up. They left the above number to call back, but I'll be blocking and ignoring any future contact.

I don't know how they have my family's number without hacking my phone because this is the message that they left to 2 of my kids with different area codes to contact them: "Hello, I'm calling you today as a courtesy. Your number was given as a point of contact to reach * ** Please inform ** that they have been named as a person of interest in an important matter that requires their immediate attention. Federal law prohibits me from disclosing any further information. If you know this person, please press one now or contact us directly at 8338832793. Again, that phone number is 833 883 2793. I received multiple call stating the following when I would not answer the phone call anymore in my voicemail.

“Wind that they have been named as a person of interest in an important matter that requires their immediate attention federal law prohibits me from disclosing any further information if you know this person please press one now or contact us directly at 833-883-2793 again that phone number is 833-883-2793 thank you for your help today…”

They left the following voicemail on my phone.

"Hello, I'm calling you today as a courtesy. Your number was given as a point of contact to reach ******** *******. Please inform ******** ******* that they have been named as a person of interest in an important matter that requires their immediate attention. Call a family member of mine said I was a person of interest couldn't give detail over the phone. My family shared the message with me. Sounded like a video recording not an actual person. I called the number and someone answered but didn't say anything. He or she just held the phone
