I have a new 2024 Mazda CX30. I received a phone call several weeks ago and now a letter from the above named individual in an attempt to get me to purchase extended warranty on a car that is no where near current warranty expiring. I do not have a money amount for the extended coverage because I have not contacted them back.

I was contacted by mail from the person listed above. I have a 2024 Mazda CX30, and I'm being approached to purchase extended warranty when current warranty is far from being expired. I don't have a dollar amount for the purchase because I chose not to contact him.

I was sent physical mail so I assumed it was legit but it didn’t make sense nor feel right because when I bought my vehicle, I had to get a warranty. I called the number and it only lasted 5 seconds. They got scared I’m sure lol. You could tell it was sketchy because of the background noise. Ignore and confirm with the dealership you bought your car from, etc.

Definitely A Scam

The scammer attempted to make it sound like our extended warranty for our new car wasn’t active and attempted to scare us into acting quickly by using terms like “you still have not contacted us about your extended warranty” and that it was the “final notice,” even though it was the first piece of mail they had sent. They wanted us to act within a few days or else be liable for any warranty related issues. They know the make and model of my car, but they are trying to phish my VIN and current mileage. I ignored the message, knowing that I already got an extended warranty through the dealership. However, despite them claiming that was the final notice, a couple of weeks or so later, I got another piece of mail from them, suddenly acting like they never gave me a final notice or a previous deadline, once again trying to get me to act quickly, along with a new deadline. My wife did call the number but thankfully hung up before giving them any information. I want these scammers to quit sending me bogus urgent requests to try to scare me into doing business with them that I don’t need, especially because of the fact that my wife nearly fell for their tactic.
