I tried to buy a pair of earrings online similar to my favorite pair I recently lost. The scammer said they couldn’t locate my transaction, and then they did and assured me they mailed them. Their website never gave me a confirmation code but PayPal emailed me the transaction was successful. The scammer also said that they mailed my items but did not provide a tracking. It has been weeks and I still haven’t gotten my item or heart from the scammer. I opened a dispute with my credit card company.
