I took my car to Ammco on 9/21/2023 for a recommended service that Ammco advised me to do from a previous visit in July of 2023. There wasn't a problem with my shifting and no check engine light on. Car was running perfect. I went to go pick up my car, I was told my the mechanic that my transmission was going out and displaying several codes. They said that it was going to run into thousands of dollars to fix it. I told the mechanic that the car was fine until i took it to him. He said that the check engine light stayed on 5 seconds to long when started up. He proceeded to infor me again about the codes. I feel the mechanic manipulated the computer to make the check engine light come on. Now i cannot drive my because if his tampering with the computer. I feel that i cannot trust Ammco with any of vehicles. I need advice on how to resolve my issue with Ammco.
