This bookstore is a scam!

I tried to purchase a PDF textbook required for law school- of all things- and what I got instead was a 121-page magazine in what I think is Japanese.

If you look up the business address it goes to a home in rural North Carolina.

I promptly notified my bank to begin the process of going after the scam to recover the money they stole from me, and cancelled my card.

Their website says to contact: info@aandzstore if you have problems... But their email confirmation of the purchase says THIS: "If you have any issues, Please contact us first, we will help you ASAP: [email protected]".

The irony that this text is needed for a consumer law course! I have never been scammed before... guess there's a first time for everything.

The website certificates are valid and appeared legit: sni.cloudflaressl.com, issued 01/2021 and good through 01/2022... Which leads back to Baltimore CyberTrust Root, valid 05/2000 through 05/2025.

Ugh, I was really hoping I didn't get scammed, and that they just didn't reply to their emails! The same exact thing happened to me and it was impossible to look up their site since "a and z" isn't too specific. I finally found an actual review and it's what I feared. They sent me a completely different book from what I ordered, and they have so many different emails for support. None of them respond and a few will not even accept the email! This is a pain and I thought it was legit since it was the first book google recommended. Also, did your bank cancel the transaction? Is there a way to report the site?
