I went through an hour long interview answering multiple questions. The app used to do the online interview was an app called telegram. a few hours later after the interview I was offered a job as a
customer service chat assistant. I was sent a job offer with information including benefits, pay, Pto, job requirements, signed at the bottom.
They then went through the “onboarding process. And said they were sending me a fund to order equipment through a supplier they work with that will provide all the equipment needed to work from home.
An e check was sent to that I could deposit into my account. The deposit was pending. My bank put a hold on it. The plan of the scammer was to have me spend the money if the funds did not get held right away knowing that the check would eventually bounce but the money would have already been spent.
