I received an email from a Marie Martin who stated that she worked for a company called Ab & Artho. They were a travel agency based in France, looking for new hires to work for their company, and that I could work from home & only had to work about 10 hrs a week. We communicated via email, was sent an employee contract to go over, and sign. After signing the contract, Marie told me that she would send me my first assignment in a few days. After a few days went by, I received instructions from Marie on what needed to be done. She told me that i would be receiving a check in the amount of $2188.00 from TEXAS MANAGEMENT GROUP, one of their clients, and when i received the check via express postal mail, I was to deposit the check into my bank account, wait however many days i had to for the check to clear. Once the check cleared, i was to keep a 5% remuneration off the total amount and send the rest of the money to a manager at their Poland office, thru WU, and to email Marie back with the details of the manager name and the tracking id #. After emailing Marie the details, she told me she would be in contact with me about my next assignment. That following Monday, i received another envelope with two checks enclosed. I hadn't received an email from Marie about the two checks, so i sent her an email stating that i had deposited the two checks together. She responded back to me on what to do at that point and we went back and forth until she finally had said, once the checks clear, the HR department said it was ok for me to take my $3000 salary for my first mths pay, out of that money. That following Thursday, my bank had called me and told me the checks that I deposited were fraudulent checks and they had to take the money back. Now I am liable for the $2188, because my bank didn't catch the first check till after i had deposited the other two checks.
