“Mitigation” department or collection agency called several family members looking for my husband. He received a voicemail and we called it back and they said that he owed $9200 from medical debt. Said from 2014 but couldn’t give us specifics and the lady was extremely rude and said we had to research it ourselves. Losing sleep over this since she had all credit information and was threatening that they would take from our two checking accounts or our home? She knew where we banked as well. I reviewed my husbands credit report immediately (we have perfect credit) but she brought up things from 20 years ago.?? She also sent this document to my husbands email and we have absolutely NO idea what this is in regards to. Please help.
