Man came to the door of our business on Scott Futrell with a home made Duke energy badge. the front desk did not let him based on the look of the badge alone. when I asked him what he was doing he said he worked for Duke energy and wanted to talk about their L.E.D light rebate program. His business card clearly shows that he is not Duke Energy and furthermore he is from Georgia. I contacted Duke Energy about this but all they would/could do is confirm that he is not a participant in their program. I do not know if it is a scam or not but if someone is posing as another company to gain access to others then it is not starting off good. A legitimate business would not pose as another company.
