AT&T Fraud Reference: 231114-000637
Scammed into purchasing iPad Max Pro & iPhone Max with AT&T wireless service. The reasoning provided was I was to be repaid by the internationally based company Ab Agri. Scammer provided me with an offer letter for the Remote position with the company. He further attempted to require me to purchase a MacBook 16" Pro at a cost of $2500. The scammer required me to FedEx equipment to a location in Houston, TX which I complied with on 11/6/2023. Additionally he attemptednto have me purchase 6 Apple products to support other "employees", which I did not comply. Furthermore, the offer letter states a 2016 Scion, although there were no travel requirements in the position description.
I provided the scammer with a copy of my driver's license and SSN based on it was :required" for new hire paperwork.
All discussions were via Microsoft Teams. Jobs2Career site is where the Remote position is located. Initially approached via email by Ava Addams ([email protected]) to set up an interview.
