I was called about a rental property I had available. The woman called and said she would be renting the space as a business so she wouldn't need any security deposit. She had proof of insurance and added me (landlord) as additional insured on the certificate of insurance. When rent was due she wrote a NSF check for $1600 from ABB Enterprises then went through lengths to explain that it was the banks fault. She was able to provide me with a forwarded message from bank of america showing they suspected the check as fraud and it had a link to the banks site. She said she confirmed that the check was intended for me for rent (I can tell you what I think is that she has done this before and copied exact wording and just changed the amout from the message). I gave an eviction notice once the business was unable to be reached for 2 days. Then the woman doing business as ABB Enterprises LLC was going to pay in full on 2 separate dates shortly after eviction notice given, and both times she was a no show.
