I have called Santa Barbara BBB for weeks now tying to report About The Children. We never allowed them to charge our card but they had it on file and said had to to proceed they needed a payment- we said wait a week to file the paperwork then we don’t have the money right now and just wanted to start the process. They charged our card that day and I didn’t see it til the next week- called to make a payment and file paperwork- they send over a PDF with nothing specific all generic, not legal document at all. I immediately call back and tell them why am I paying you at all this isn’t legal do not barge my card I’m reporting you. They charged my card right after THEY hung up on me for asking for a supervisor. We got all our money back but gave our step daughter and ourselves false hope. People who prey on others in weak situations is all you get from this company. They deserve to be dropped off at a pig farm.
