A representative from ABP Electrical came to my house claiming to be a representative from SRP (the electric company). He claimed he needed to schedule a visit with access to the house for an electrical evaluation for the coming summer. I was told that this evaluation was for a home improvement program for which there would be zero cost due to rebates and service programs. When I called SRP later they warned me this would be a scam and all their home improvement information is found virtually or done when prescheduled through your account online. SRP also told me the 0 cost program was a fabrication by this company and their "evaluation" was most likely a ploy to gain access to my home.
